#2165: Marine Links The Feathered Virgin Murder to Serco's Oakhanger Bypass of HMG's Chain of Command

Abel Danger - Wed, 11/05/2014 - 11:54
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked the alleged murder of co-pilot Michael Asbury after his Virgin SpaceShipTwo spacecraft was destroyed by the premature deployment of "feathers", to Serco's apparent use of an Airbus Oakhanger telemetry facility to bypass Her Majesty's Government ('HMG') chain of command.

"Serco supported the AFSCN communications support squadron in partnering with military and government contractors to supervise an Air Force Satellite Control Network test effort at Oakhanger, United Kingdom. Their innovative test procedures and creative solutions provided a viable implementation plan designed to improve communications capability .. The team's outstanding support and will bring new capabilities and enhanced services to our critical warfighting mission."                                   - Maj Gen Dale W. Meyerrose,
Air Force Space Command Director of Communications and Information

McConnell believes that Serco's Gary Butcher and Bob Coulling began developing the former RAF Oakhanger facility as a telemetry bypass of Her Majesty's Government ('HMG') in the 1994-1997 period when Nicholas Soames was UK Minister of Defense and the outsourcer then passed the facility over to Airbus in 2003 in an apparently-treasonous Private Finance Initiative.

McConnell also claims that Serco operatives used the Airbus Oakhanger Telemetry & Command Station and the Air Force Satellite Control Network to impute premature "feathering" commands into SpaceShipTwo with intent to kill both the pilot and co-pilot and then blame their deaths on Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson with a wag-the-dog script about exploding rocket engines.

McConnell invites Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson to a briefing on the world's largest air traffic controller Serco and its alleged use of the Airbus Oakhanger telemetry facility to bypass licenses to kill lawfully issued by Her Majesty's Government, destroy SpaceShipTwo over the Mojave desert and camouflage the feathered Virgin murder of co-pilot Michael Asbury.

McConnell also invites Sir Richard to conduct a private investigation of Gary Butcher, the Serco Telemetry and Command Station Manager at RAF Oakhanger, and the 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling and all of the tradecraft skills they would need to conceal the feathered Virgin murder, especially Coulling's experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

Virgin Galactic Spaceship 2 Explodes In Flight and Crashes Virgin Calls it an "Anomaly" happened

"SpaceShipTwo 'Feather' Tail System Deployed Prematurely: NTSBBY M. ALEX JOHNSONNTSB: Device deployed early in Virgin Galactic crash
SpaceShipTwo's unique tail section, which can "feather" at an angle to help the Virgin Galactic spacecraft make a safe descent, unfurled as it was ascending during the flight that ended in a fatal breakup Friday and without being ordered to do so, federal investigators said Sunday night.
The "feathering" mechanism isn't supposed to be unlocked until the spacecraft reaches 1.4 times the speed of sound, Christopher Hart, the NTSB's acting chairman, said at a news conference. But on the flight that crashed Friday, one of the pilots moved the mechanism's lock-unlock lever into the unlocked position earlier, at just slightly above Mach 1, Hart said.
The feathering procedure is supposed to require two separate steps to engage: First, the pilots must unlock the feather mechanism; then they must move a separate feather handle into position.
SpaceShipTwo's feather mechanism began moving almost immediately — even though neither pilot took that second step, Hart said. That would have increased the plane's atmospheric drag at just the wrong moment.
"Two seconds later, we saw disintegration," Hart said. Almost immediately, telemetry and video data "terminated," he said.
A long-range telescopic photo from May 2011 shows the SpaceShipTwo rocket plane with its wings in the bent, "feathered" position. The orientation of the wings is supposed to help keep the plane in a stable position during its descent through the atmosphere. The term "feathered" is used because the configuration is reminiscent of a badminton shuttlecock with feathers.
Co-pilot Michael Alsbury was killed as a result of the in-flight breakup. The rocket plane's pilot, Pete Siebold, parachuted to the ground, suffered injuries and is now hospitalized. Friends of Alsbury have established a memorial fund.
Hart offered no explanations for why the tail mechanism moved prematurely, but the information disclosed Sunday is likely to shift the focus of the investigation from the plane's hybrid rocket motor to its feathering mechanism.
Hart said the motor and the fuel tanks survived intact, which will help the investigation significantly. Still, Hart said that "there's much more that we don't know" and that "we are a long way from finding the cause." He emphasized that he was only reporting facts that had been gathered to date and not any conclusions as to the accident's cause."
"The TelegraphBy Robert Mendick, Edward Malnick and Rob Crilly in New York9:29PM GMT 01 Nov 2014
Sir Richard Branson's space tourism company Virgin Galactic has been accused of ignoring a series of warnings that its $500 million rocket was unsafe for flight.
A number of senior aerospace engineers repeatedly voiced fears over the design of Sir Richard's SpaceShipTwo and the safety protocols surrounding its testing.
The Telegraph has seen emails and other documents in the public domain — dating back several years, and as recently as last year — in which the engineers warned of the dangers of Virgin Galactic's rocket engine system.
It also emerged on Saturday that three senior Virgin Galactic executives — the vice-president in charge of propulsion, the vice-president in charge of safety, and the chief aerodynamics engineer — had all quit the company in recent months.
The Virgin Galactic spacecraft, which was scheduled to begin passenger flights early next year, blew up in the sky above the Mojave Desert in California during a test flight on Friday.

The incident, in which one pilot died and another was seriously injured, puts in jeopardy Sir Richard's dream of space travel for passengers, each paying $250,000 (£156,000).
The dead pilot was named as Michael Alsbury, an experienced American test pilot.
His widow, Michelle Saling, said: "I have lost the love of my life. I am living in hell right now."
His co-pilot Peter Siebold, 43, was undergoing surgery on Saturday night after sustaining serious injuries.
Scaled Composites, the US aerospace company which employed the pilots, said Mr Siebold has been "alert" and talking with his family and doctors.
Wreckage lies near the site where a Virgin Galactic space tourism rocket, SpaceShipTwo, exploded and crashed in Mojave, California
Virgin Galactic, in an attempt at damage limitation, initially dismissed the explosion as an "anomaly". However, aerospace experts insisted that it had been a disaster waiting to happen.
Tom Bower, an investigative journalist and Sir Rihard's biographer, described the crash as "predictable and inevitable". He said: "It's a very crude rocket."
Sir Richard arrived at the crash site on Saturday insisting that "safety has always been our number one priority". He admitted that only if the problems that caused the crash could be overcome would the programme continue.
The Telegraph can disclose that Sir Richard's company, as well as US authorities, were warned about safety issues on numerous occasions, as long ago as 2007 when three engineers died in an explosion during testing of a rocket engine on the ground.
Carolynne Campbell, the lead expert on rocket propulsion at the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS), said: "This explosion is not a surprise. None whatsoever, I am sorry to say. It is exactly what I was expecting. It was Russian roulette which test flight blew up."
She had first warned Virgin Galactic about the danger of its nitrous oxide-propelled engines in the aftermath of the 2007 disaster, and has repeated those warnings since.
In a study published in 2010 on her website and sent to Sir Richard's company as well as to the US authorities, she wrote: "We are not confident that ... we yet know enough about N2O [nitrous oxide] to consider it a safe oxidiser for use in passenger flight.
"In the light of what we do know, safety must remain a major concern."
In the study, she questioned Virgin Galactic's claim on its website that its rocket system was "benign" and "stable".
In emails sent by Geoff Daly, a US-based British rocket scientist, to officials at the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) last year, he warned of another disaster if test flights were given the go-ahead.
At the time, Virgin Galactic had planned to begin its first passenger flights in December 2013, although the date of the inaugural flight had been repeatedly postponed.
In the emails, published on a US government website, Mr Daly wrote on July 13 2013: "We respectfully request a response from you on what actions the FAA will be taking with respect to the permit issued and the operations as planned in the Mojave and New Mexico facilities.
"Remember three people have been killed and numerous persons injured by a prior explosion involving N2O in this motor design. We do not need another incident on the ground/flight line or in the air."
In another email — this time to the US Chemical Safety Board and sent on July 17 2013 — Mr Daly wrote: "Sir Richard Branson, his two children, Justin Bieber [the singer] and one other will be the first passengers to fly into space during this coming December 2013, and everyone realises there is a problem, even the engineers ...have said so off the record."
Tomasso Sgobba, executive director of IAASS and the former head of safety at the European Space Agency, said that Virgin Galactic had refused to share information with industry experts outside the company and declined to have its rocket design peer-reviewed.
Representatives of Virgin Galactic had refused to come to IAASS meetings, he said.
"They operated in secrecy, which is difficult to understand," said Mr Sgobba. "They don't use modern techniques in putting safety into the design.
"They use outdated methods like testing and then seeing what happens. There has been no independent oversight.
"There is no peer review. I have been saying for some years now this was an accident waiting to happen."
Mr Bower, who exposed the safety concerns surrounding the project in his biography of Sir Richard published earlier this year, said: "What happened yesterday was very sad for the pilot obviously but it was predictable and inevitable.
"All the engineers in California working on the project I've spoken to said it was very dangerous."
US investigators on Saturday began examining the wreckage to determine what went wrong.
One area of focus will be claims that the test pilots had requested a two-hour delay in take-off due to concerns over the temperature of the nitrous oxide in the fuel tanks.
SpaceShipTwo was being tested ahead of a possible passenger launch in March. It was the first test flight using a different hybrid fuel system.
In May this year, the company and its partner firm Scaled Composites said they would switch from using a rubber-based solid fuel burned in a stream of nitrous oxide, which had caused engine instabilities in earlier test flights, to a plastic-based solid fuel called thermoplastic polyamide also burned in nitrous oxide.
It was claimed the new fuel would be more reliable and more powerful.
In a statement on its website on Friday, the company said: "During the test, the vehicle suffered a serious anomaly resulting in the loss of the vehicle."
A spokesman for Virgin Galactic said: "The investigation of the accident is now in the hands of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and we are not permitted to make any comment whatsoever until that investigation has run its course."
The NTSB investigation is its first involving a manned spacecraft. It was unclear if there was a "black box" flight recorder.
Sir Richard dismissed claims that Virgin Galactic had ignored safety warnings.
"To be honest I find it slightly irresponsible that people who know nothing about what they are saying can be saying things before the NTSB makes their comments," he said.
He added: "We aren't going to push on blindly. To do so would be an insult to all those affected by this tragedy.
"We are going to learn from what went wrong, discover how we can improve safety and performance and then move forwards together.
"We owe it to our test pilots to find out exactly what went wrong and once we find out what went wrong, if we can overcome it, we'll make absolutely certain that the dream lives on."
Sir Richard later insisted the programme could be "back on track" within four to six months "if it is a clear-cut cause and one that can be fixed".""RAF Oakhanger was the home of No 1001 Signal Unit, responsible for supporting satellite communications services for the British Armed Forces worldwide. The unit was made up of four sub-units; Space Operations, Ground Operations, Telemetry and Control and Support with subordinate detachments based at RAF Rudloe ManorRAF Colerne and RAF Defford. Command and Control of the system was conducted from Oakhanger, with a planning unit based at Rudloe Manor, co-located with No1 Signal Unit and Controller Defence Communication Network. The Colerne and Defford detachments provided a ground anchoring capability for the communications spacecraft. The Defford detachment was managed by the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, later QinetiQ.
Space Squadron was responsible for flying a constellation of Skynet satellites, up to the fourth iteration of six space vehicles which supported ArmyRoyal Navy and Royal Air Force units. The space vehicles were controlled on a permanent basis from Oakhanger with command and control traffic being passed from one of the three ground stations. Space Squadron also controlled the flight of space vehicles on behalf of NATO, with an earth station at the nearby NATO ground terminal. The constellation comprised geosynchronous satellites, providing Earth coverage and higher power coverage over Northern Europe.
Ground services took responsibility for planning the routing of traffic via the space vehicles, from a number of locations in the United Kingdom to either stationary ground terminals such as GermanyCyprusAscension Island and the Falkland Islands or tactical ground terminals, mounted in ships or vehicles and operated by Tactical Communications Wing, 30 Signal Regiment, 16 Signal Regiment, 264 (SAS) Signal Squadron or the Royal Marines Signal Squadrons.[2]Current use [edit]
Support to British military satellite communications was outsourced to EADS Astrium subsidiary company Paradigm Secure Communications in 2003 in a Private Finance Initiative arrangement. The station was subsequently decommissioned, closed and handed over to Paradigm at that time. Paradigm Secure Communications is now known as Astrium Services.
The three sites are now designated Telemetry & Command Station Oakhanger, Satellite Ground Station Oakhanger and Satellite Ground Terminal F4 (operated on behalf of NATO). The sites are now used to support the Skynet 5 constellation."

Boehner Protecting Chinese Currency Manipulation Again [2013]?

March 21, 2013

When China can undervalue its currency, they can flood the U.S. market with "cheap" goods and destroy industries and, obviously, capture good-paying American manufacturing jobs. Also, that undervalued currency rate means U.S. goods become artificially and prohibitively expensive when entering the Chinese market. U.S. manufacturers - and workers - get killed both ways. Wall Street has no preference for profits that come from American manufacturing or Chinese manufacturing - it's all the same for them - and their bought-and-paid-for agents in Congress have been perfectly happy with this arrangement. Wall Street shills in both parties have consistently prevented effective action against Chinese currency manipulation and this effort has been led by Members who have personally enriched themselves with shady dealings with China, particularly McConnell and Boehner.

Four Members of Congress, willing to stand up to China and Wall Street, have proposed legislation to deal with the problem-- again. Sander Levin (D-MI), Tim Murphy (R-PA), Tim Ryan (D-OH), and Mo Brooks (R-AL) have reintroduced the Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act. Levin introduced the bill in February, 2011-- basically to "amend title VII of the Tariff Act of 1930 to clarify that countervailing duties may be imposed to address subsidies relating to a fundamentally undervalued currency of any foreign country." Boehner immediately sent it to an unheralded death by bottling it up in the House Ways and Means Committee, chaired by his crony, sleazy Michigan closet case Dave Camp. This morning, Scott Paul, president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing told us that he finds it "hard to imagine why John Boehner stands with Beijing dictators and multinational outsourcers when a strong majority of Republican voters, and his own caucus, support the China currency bill. Here’s a bill that creates jobs, doesn’t cost taxpayers a dime, and strengthens our economy. Whose side is Boehner on: the Beijing dictators or ours?"

If you were unaware how much money China has funneled into the Republican Party via the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Sheldon Adelson it might seem odd that Boehner and the GOP Establishment has been blocking this legislation. It could be a very useful and, for a change, legitimate cudgel for them to use against Obama, who has made it clear he's not going to pressure China on currency manipulation issues. And it's a concept heavily supported by voters (62%)... and even more heavily supported by Republican voters (68%)!

Andy Hounshell is an Ohio steel worker from Middletown who is also the vice president of his union local. A desire to join fellow Ohio Democrats Rep. Tim Ryan and Senator Sherrod Brown in fighting back against unfair trade policies helped push him to run against John Boehner. "American workers can compete with anyone as long as they are playing by the same rules," he told us earlier today. "This sounds like a bill that would force foreign currency manipulators to do just that. Hopefully this is something that will finally drive some members of our Congress from their partisanship, and actually help the working people of this country. Treating undervalued currency as an actionable subsidy would be a good start to filling in the gap in the trade deficit. I know Tim Ryan has been working on this with Sander Levin and a number of Republicans, and it is, in effect, a job-creation bill that most Members of Congress - across the aisle - backed last year. John Boehner shouldn't be using his prerogatives as Speaker to prevent a simple up or down vote in the House on something this crucial to so many working families. He's not only out of step with American voters, he's out of step with his own Republican congressional caucus. In 2012, the U.S. trade deficit with China reached a new record - $315 billion and this trade deficit has cost 2.7 million U.S. jobs between 2001 and 2011. If I'm elected, this is literallysomething I can put a stop to just because of who I'll be replacing."

The folks who don't want to see fair trade bills get a straight up vote in Congress have helped raise millions of dollars for Boehner's disgraceful political career. Last year - without having to face an opponent - he spent $21,197,801. And right now he has $952,828 in his campaign chest already. If you'd like to help Hounshell even out the playing field a little, you can do that here and you can read a guest post he did for us Monday here.

So far, here's a list of early supporters of the bill. Each is a first-day co-sponsor; this is the kind of bipartisanship that works - even if Boehner and his team are opposing it:

• Mo Brooks (R-AL)
• Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)

Miss McConnell In A Tizzy

February 27, 2013

Neither of these China suck-ups is Chinese (Chairman Boehner)
Miss McConnell, who was booted out of the Army after just one week for fondling a private enlisted man's private parts, has some kind of a Republican "marriage" to former Bush Labor Secretary Elaine Chao. This kind of stuff isn't allowed to be written about in the Village. Outré, outré, outré... so outré. It's like when people used to talk about Florida Republican Congressman Mark Foley having a hankering for teenaged boys or Idaho Republican Senator Larry Craig enjoying himself regularly in public toilets. "How dare you!" the Villagers would bellow. "How dare you!" No, not at Foley or Craig... at anyone who wrote about it. It's just not how we do things... in the Village. No doubt! But we call the old pervert from Kentucky Miss McConnell anyway. Enjoy it...or ignore it.

 Elaine L. Chao
(Credit The Heritage Foundation)
May 20 is my sister's birthday. I think it was a 2007 post on May 20 when we first started looking seriously into Miss McConnell getting wealthy from his business dealings with Red China. It was the first of many.

Yesterday during a live blog session with Kentucky activists about Tuesday's gubernatorial primary, there was a brief conversation about how the Bush Regime's chief Senate obstructionist Mitch McConnell is a closet queen. Cliff Schecter pointed out, perhaps facetiously, that McConnell sometimes emerges from the closet to do business with his Chinese communist partners. "A review of financial assets held over the past six years by Elaine L. Chao and her husband, Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, reveals that the labor secretary-designate serves as director of an insurance company that jointly owns a Lippo Group subsidiary with the Chinese government... McConnell, has received steady campaign contributions during his years in the Senate from Lippo partner American International Group Inc., and its chairman, Maurice 'Hank' Greenberg."

McConnell "is China's biggest Republican booster in the Senate, fighting to liberalize trade with Beijing."

The Post story claims that "dead pets and melamine-tainted food notwithstanding, change will prove difficult, policy experts say, in large part because U.S. companies have become so dependent on the Chinese economy that tighter rules on imports stand to harm the U.S. economy, too." There is no mention of Mitch McConnell and the agenda he and his "wife," U.S. Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, have pushed, quite relentlessly, an agenda that has helped to make them enormously wealthy and powerful... at the expense of some dead dogs and cats and some people getting sick. The Post claims that so many U.S. companies are involved with China now that there is little that can be done about it. That's how McConnell and Chao planned it.

Trading with the largely unregulated Chinese marketplace has its risks, of course, as evidenced by the many lawsuits that U.S. pet food companies now face from angry consumers who say their pets were poisoned by tainted Chinese ingredients. Until recently, however, many companies and even the federal government reckoned that, on average, those risks were worth taking. And for some products they have had little choice, as China has driven competitors out of business with its rock-bottom prices.

China's less-than-stellar behavior as a food exporter is revealed in stomach-turning detail in FDA "refusal reports" filed by U.S. inspectors: Juices and fruits rejected as "filthy." Prunes tinted with chemical dyes not approved for human consumption. Frozen breaded shrimp preserved with nitrofuran, an antibacterial that can cause cancer. Swordfish rejected as "poisonous."

The always cynical and self-serving McConnell was key in rejecting a bill that would have allowed senior citizens to purchase inexpensive Canadian drugs because, he claimed, the U.S. couldn't guarantee their safety. When someone brings up the safety of Chinese products to McConnell he turns into a veritable dragon lady, screaming and hissing and cursing about "Free Trade."

McConnell, Chao and the Bush Regime are literally allowing their partners in Communist China to poison the American public. "So pervasive is the U.S. hunger for cheap imports, experts said, that the executive branch itself has repeatedly rebuffed proposals by agency scientists to impose even modest new safety rules for foreign foods. 'Sometimes guidances can get through, but not regulations,' said Caroline Smith DeWaal, food safety director at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, an advocacy group. Guidances, which the FDA defines as 'current thinking on a particular subject,' are not binding. Under the Bush administration in particular, DeWaal said, if a proposed regulation does get past agency or department heads, it hits the wall at the White House Office of Management and Budget."

Yesterday the Villagers were all up in arms because someone at ProgressKentucky, a state good government PAC, tweeted something inartfully about Elaine Chao being Chinese (which she is). "Liberal" Villagers like nothingmore than pinning the racism tag on progressives. There was inartfulness but no racism, none. Zero. ProgressKentucky is doing yeoman's work against McConnell's reelection but the Villagers want a pound of flesh now for the outrage, the outré, outré, outré. This was the PAC's first spirited defense yesterday:

Mitch McConnell's campaign manager, Jesse Benton, has accused Progress Kentucky of race-baiting by retweeting a Twitter message that mentioned McConnell’s wife’s nationality.

"Progress Kentucky strongly denies that the organization has engaged in any such thing," said Shawn Reilly, executive director of Progress Kentucky. "Benton's statements are an attempt to divert attention from the fact that Mitch McConnell has engaged in the selling of the American middle class overseas for decades."

Here are the facts:

In 1997, McConnell pushed for trade relations favorable to China resulting in American jobs going overseas. McConnell and his father-in-law James S.C. Chao, who is president of Foremost Maritime Corporation, met "privately with Chinese officials, including Jiang Zemin, then general secretary of the Communist Party of China. (Chao's father and Jiang were schoolmates in China.)," according to the Herald-Leader.

On November 9, 2006, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao formally thanked Chao in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, for his role in developing the Chinese shipbuilding industry "at a rapid pace."

In January 2013, the Courier-Journal reported that eight members of the Chao's family each gave $10,000 to the Kentucky Republican Party in the final weeks of 2012.

"When the Premier of China publicly thanks an industrialist for his role in developing Chinese industry, then that industrialist and his family contribute $80,000 to the Kentucky Republican Party, it is fair to question whether McConnell is selling out the middle class of America," said Reilly.

Personally, James S. C. Chao has contributed $15,500 to Mitch McConnell's campaigns, $30,000 to the Kentucky Republican Party, and $17,500 to the Republican National Committee.

Senator Mitch McConnell has a conflict of interest that many are afraid to talk about, and Progress Kentucky is not.

That isn't what the Villagers define as a pound of flesh. It just pissed them off even more. Pissed, pissed, pissed. Yesterday ended with another press release from Progress Kentucky, the apology the Villagers demanded - but won't ever be satisfied with:

Progress Kentucky is dedicated to ensuring the people of Kentucky have the kind of representation in the US Senate they deserve. In an effort to educate KY voters as to the varied interests of Sen. McConnell we provided information about connections between the senator and business and government interests in China. This information included an inappropriate comment on the ethnicity of the former Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao, the senator’s wife.

We apologize to the secretary for that unnecessary comment and have deleted the tweets in question. In addition, we have put a review process in place to ensure tweets and other social media communications from Progress KY are reviewed and approved prior to posting.

Senator McConnell's record deserves a thorough and legitimate airing. We believe that after fair examination of it Kentuckians will agree that Senator McConnell has been wrong over and over on the issues that matter. We will continue to inform Kentucky voters the important issues at stake in this election.

Here's a self-aggrandizing clown who hasn't bothered to find out what really happened. I don't follow him but it was retweeted by the NRSC, which is how I did see it:

90lbs Of Cocaine Found On Ship Owned By Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's Father-in-Law

Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog
Though Foremost has played a pivotal role in McConnell's life, bestowing the senator with most of his personal wealth and generating thousands in donations to his campaign committees, the drug bust went unnoticed in Kentucky, where every bit of McConnell-related news has generated fodder for the campaign trail. That’s because, like many international shipping companies, Chao's firm is shrouded from public view, concealing its identity and limiting its legal liability through an array of tax shelters and foreign registrations. Registered through a limited liability company in the Marshall Islands, the Ping May flies the Liberian flag. From the Nation article: Mitch McConnell’s Freighted Ties to a Shadowy Shipping CompanyWell this is interesting. Particularly with the Senate Minority Leader (and major Republican establishment crony) fighting for his life in the Kentucky Senate race.

From the Nation:
Before the Ping May, a rusty cargo vessel, could disembark from the port of Santa Marta en route to the Netherlands in late August, Colombian inspectors boarded the boat and made a discovery. Hidden in the ship's chain locker, amidst its load of coal bound for Europe, were approximately 40 kilograms, or about 90 pounds, of cocaine. A Colombian Coast Guard official told The Nation that there is an ongoing investigation. The seizure of the narcotics shipment in the Caribbean port occurred far away from Kentucky, the state in which Senator Mitch McConnell is now facing a career-defining election. But the Republican Senate minority leader has the closest of ties to the owner of the Ping May, the vessel containing the illicit materials: the Foremost Maritime Corporation, a firm founded and owned by McConnell's in-laws, the Chao family. Though Foremost has played a pivotal role in McConnell’s life, bestowing the senator with most of his personal wealth and generating thousands in donations to his campaign committees, the drug bust went unnoticed in Kentucky, where every bit of McConnell-related news has generated fodder for the campaign trail. That’s because, like many international shipping companies, Chao's firm is shrouded from public view, concealing its identity and limiting its legal liability through an array of tax shelters and foreign registrations. Registered through a limited liability company in the Marshall Islands, the Ping May flies the Liberian flag. McConnell's ties to the Chaos go back to the late 1980s, when James Chao began donating to the senator. In 1993, McConnell married James's daughter, Elaine Chao, a Republican activist and then-former Reagan administration official who would later serve as Secretary of Labor in the George W. Bush cabinet. James Chao emigrated to the United States from Taiwan, and founded the Foremost Maritime Corporation upon settling in New York. The company has grown significantly over the years, from acting as maritime agent during the Vietnam War to controlling a fleet of approximately 16 dry bulk cargo ships in operation today. Nothing like a neo-feudal love story to make the eyes well up.
The firm, however, leaves a faint online trace. Foremost's website FMCNY.com is blank. ??Records and court documents obtained by The Nation show that the ownership of the company’s vessels—with names such as Ping May, Soya May, Fu May, and Grain May—is obscured through a byzantine structure of tax entities. Most of Foremost's vessels are flagged in Liberia, which ensures that crew members of Foremost's ships work under Liberia's maritime labor laws, which critics note allow for intimidation in the workplace and few protections for labor unions. In addition, a Liberian "flag of convenience" allows ship owners to pay lower tonnage taxes than ships that fly the U.S. flag. Maritime companies have increasingly used the Marshall Islands to register their vessels. The jurisdiction boasts of "no taxation, lax regulation, and no requirements for disclosure of many corporate details—even to the United States government," according to a report in the World Policy Journal. The recent seizure of cocaine on a Foremost coal ship came as authorities in Colombia have stepped up anti-drug trafficking enforcement in the region. The Nation spoke to Luis Gonzales, an official with the Colombian Coast Guard in Santa Marta, who told us that the Ping May's crew were questioned as part of an ongoing investigation, but that no charges have yet been filed. His team found the cocaine in forty separate packages. The Republican Senate minority leader's personal wealth grew seven-fold over the last ten years thanks in large part to a gift given to him and his wife in 2008 from James Chao worth between $5 million and $25 million (Senate ethics forms require personal finance disclosures in ranges of amounts, rather than specific figures). The gift helped the McConnells after their stock portfolio dipped in the wake of the financial crisis that year, and ensured they could pay off more than $100,000 in mortgage debt on their Washington home. The generous gift made McConnell one of the wealthiest members of the Senate, with a net worth averaging around $22.8 million, according to the Washington Post’s review of his financial disclosures. Just in case you didn't think these sorts of relationships have a direct effect on U.S. foreign policy, think again…
The ties between McConnell and his in-laws have come under scrutiny before. In 2001, they were probed in depth by The New Republic in an article that charged that McConnell led an effort to soften his party’s criticism of China. Through James Chao, who was a classmate of Jiang Zemin, the president of China in the 90s, McConnell and his wife met with Jiang several times, both in Beijing and in Washington. McConnell subsequently tempered his criticism of Chinese human rights abuses, and broke with hawks like Senator Jesse Helms to support Most Favored Nation trading status with China. ??As Foremost established closer ties with mainland China, McConnell endorsed the position that the United States should remain "ambiguous" about coming to the defense of Taiwan. In 1999, McConnell and his wife appeared at the University of Louisville with Chinese Ambassador Li Zhaoxing. Li used the opportunity to bash congressional leaders for rebuking China over its repression of the Falun Gong religious sect. "Any responsible government will not foster evil propensities of cults by being over-lenient," Li reportedly said at the event with McConnell and Chao. Rather than distance himself from the remarks, McConnell reportedly spoke about his "good working relationship" with Li. Requests for comment to the McConnell team about the Ping May cocaine incident have gone unanswered. McConnell has positioned himself over the years as a tough on drugs politician. In 1996, McConnell was the sole sponsor of the Enhanced Marijuana Penalties Act, a bill to increase the mandatory minimum sentencing for those caught with certain amounts of marijuana. A press release noted that his bill would make "penalties for selling marijuana comparable to those for selling heroin and cocaine." In recent weeks, McConnell has touted his role in calling for more federal money to be used for drug enforcement. Readers of Liberty Blitzkrieg will know that I do not think there is such a thing as a "victimless crime," and I am completely against the government led "war on drugs," "war on terrorism" and "war on poverty." Whenever the state declares "war" on something, you naturally get more of it.

All that said, the article above gives voters some important information on McConnell, particularly with regard to how the source of his wealth and his family ties actively impact his policy choices in Washington.

Like the Democratic Party leadership, the Republican Party establishment consists of a cadre of cronies merely trying to enrich themselves. McConnell is a huge part of the problem, and the American public should know more about him.

November 4: Beware the GOP’s Permanent Dictatorship of Endless War and Killer Austerity

Washington, Nov. 3, 2014 — The stakes in tomorrow's election for Congress and state governors are far greater than most people imagine. On the agenda is in fact a giant step towards the Republican strategy of setting up a permanent dictatorship of endless war and genocidal austerity against the American people, all done while respecting and legal formalities to con voters into passivity, apathy, and resignation. In particular, Republican control of the United States Senate will almost certainly mean an immediate shift towards wider war in the Middle East, combined with draconian cuts in social programs, causing many Americans to lose their lives.

Most voters are unaware of these high-stakes, partly because of the determination of the Wall Street media to prop up the Republicans as a force for austerity, and partly because of the impotence of the Democratic Party in calling attention to these outrageous and scandalous statements. Where, one might ask, is the Democratic War Room? Where is the coordinated messaging from the White House and the cabinet? Where is the withering barrage from Democratic members of Congress? The Democrats, it would seem, are suffering from the long hangover from the broken promises of Obama's 2008 messianic campaign, which have long since been supplanted by the daily reality of weakness, recklessness, and relentless capitulation to the demands of Wall Street. Even so, Obama still represents less war and less austerity than his Republican challengers. It makes no sense to attack Obama when politicians like McCain and Graham are issuing lunatic demands for bigger debacles.

Democrats Have No Job Creation Program

The main responsibility for the low ebb of Democratic fortunes belongs to Obama. The only way to defeat Republicans is by fighting them on the basis of a strong populist economic program designed to help struggling working families at the expense of Wall Street interests. But the position of the Obama administration in the second term has been the foolish assertion that the depression is over, the recovery is in full swing, and that therefore a job program or credit stimulus program is no longer necessary. Instead, Obama has given great attention to the Republican War on Women, and to Republican hostility towards immigrants and immigration. Because of this misplaced emphasis, Obama's occasional attempts to gain traction on the minimum wage and the related issue of income inequality have not been successful. Notwithstanding this, the Democratic campaigners who have done best in the current environment are those who have built their own efforts around anti-Wall Street economic populism.

McCain Promises US Divisions in Iraq and Syria, Eyes Ukraine

The best kept secrets of the 2014 election come, first of all, from the lunatic warmonger Senator John McCain of Arizona, who has formally pledged to use GOP control of the Senate to embroil our nation in more catastrophic foreign adventures. Speaking of Obama’s Middle East policy to a mid-October gathering of the Pacific Council on International Policy, McCain declared: "Frankly, I know of no military expert who believes we are going to defeat ISIS with this present strategy…. We may be able to 'contain,' but to actually defeat ISIS is going to require more boots on the ground, more vigorous strikes, more special forces, further arming the Kurdish peshmerga forces and creating a no-fly zone and buffer zone in Syria." Here is an open demand for infantry and tank divisions to be committed once again to this graveyard of empires, coming from the politician who will chair the Senate Armed Services Committee in case the Republicans win. This is a voting issue, and would already doom the Republicans to decisive defeat, but the American people, sick of war as they are, have not been informed of what is in store for them. Nor is the warmonger McCain the only voice calling for a new land war in Southwest Asia. As Huffington Post has pointed out, similar calls for the extensive deployment of land forces against ISIS have already been issued by such top GOP figures as House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Rep. John Fleming (R-La.), Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.), Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). (Huffington Post, October 20, 2014) "Vote Yourself a War" would be an honest election slogan for the GOP.

McCain Cavorted with Cannibal, Kidnapper, and Caliph

Not only has McCain committed to wars far wider than those of Bush and Obama, he has been caught red-handed fraternizing and collaborating with the deadly enemies of the United States. Authoritative photographic evidence, readily found on the internet (try TARPLEY.net for starters), shows McCain, meeting under the auspices of suspect Hill staffer Mouaz Mustafa in April, 2013 in Idlib, Syria with Ibrahim al-Badri, who was at that time already operating as boss of the ISIS terrorist movement under the name of al-Baghdadi, and who would shortly begin masquerading as Caliph Ibrahim of the self-styled "Islamic State" — the person who will answer at Nuremberg for the repeated and public massacres he has ordered. Also on hand for the festivities with McCain was none other than Abu Sakker, the cannibal whose face is all over the Internet as he greedily devours the heart and lungs of a slain victim. Among those present was also the brigand guilty of kidnapping and extortion in the case of 12 Shiite religious pilgrims held by the terrorist "Northern Storm Brigade" under the accusation of working for Hezbollah. (see LiveLeak) In a sane society, the question would be when McCain's treason trial would begin, or when he would be dragged off to the Leavenworth stockade. Instead, in the current madhouse, McCain is in line to become even more influential over US foreign policy and military actions abroad. Widespread rage against "Walnuts" McCain has been expressed on twitter in the #ArrestMcCainForISIS campaign. We must also remember that McCain is every bit as big a warmonger in Ukraine against Russia as he is in the Middle East. McCain's mania for confrontation with Russia makes him a direct threat to the lives and the future of every man, woman, and child in the United States and around the world. If McCain is not jailed for treason, he should at least be committed to the nearest insane asylum.

The Neglected McConnell-Koch Secret Tape

Then there is the question of a further descent into deadly and futile austerity. The Nation magazine has surfaced a tape of remarks made by Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in the presence of reactionary moneybags David Koch. Here McConnell makes clear that he will promote brutal and draconian austerity, and that there will be no increase in the minimum wage, no extended jobless benefits, and no help for students currently crushed by $1.3 trillion of high interest student loans. McConnell is reported as saying:
"And we're not going to be debating all these gosh darn proposals. That's all we do in the Senate is vote on things like raising the minimum wage (inaudible)—cost the country 500,000 new jobs; extending unemployment—that's a great message for retirees; uh, the student loan package the other day, that's just going to make things worse, uh. These people believe in all the wrong things." As for how the Republicans intend to administer their congressional lockstep, McConnell revealed his intent to use extraneous riders attached to essential budget legislation, combined with the reactionary coordination of House-Senate conference committees on the budget, all in the framework of a budget reconciliation process which does not allow filibusters and which can therefore be railroaded with the bare minimum of 51 votes in the Senate – which is what McConnell thinks he will have. Here it is straight from the horse’s mouth:
"So in the House and Senate, we own the budget. So what does that mean? That means that we can pass the spending bill. And I assure you that in the spending bill, we will be pushing back against this bureaucracy by doing what's called placing riders in the bill. No money can be spent to do this or to do that." As recently as the 2012 presidential elections, a similar tape — in which the plutocratic Republican nominee Romney sneered his contempt for working people — turned into a major factor in the reactionary defeat. But this time the Democrats and their allies have been impotent to orchestrate any similar attention for these secret pledges by McConnell to Koch.

Ebola: GOP Austerity Spreads Plagues

A third point of acute Republican vulnerability is the impact of draconian budget cuts on the capabilities of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Centers For Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. NIH head Dr. Francis Collins has suggested that, were it not for the senseless Republican budget-cutting mania expressed in the sequester and in other suicidal measures, the United States might already possess a cure for the dangerous Ebola virus. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, who is hoping to unseat the incumbent Democrat Pryor, is a good example of one of the many reactionaries who voted against the Pandemic Protection Act in recent years on grounds that it represented "big guvmint." As a result, US facilities for isolating Ebola patients are pitifully few.

Incredibly enough, the pro-austerity Republicans have sought to blame Ebola on Obama — despite the obvious fact that the focus of the epidemic here in the United States is the godforsaken state of Texas, where the budget cutting, contempt for science, and animus against public health workers on the part of troglodyte Governor Rick Perry have created one of the worst public health systems in the United States. The incompetence and bungling of Dallas hospital authorities show what happens when medical professionals are either vilified or left to their own devices. The Democrats needed to point out that the Centers for Disease Control is in no way a regulatory agency, since it issues purely advisory and informational material, and that hospitals remain under the regulatory authority of the states — meaning in this case, Rick Perry's Texas.

The Secret Program of the GOP for Congress in 2015

One of the greatest gifts on the part of the controlled media to the Republicans has been the willingness of broadcasters and reporters to let the GOP off the hook on the most crucial question of the day: we know that they hate Obama, but what exactly do they propose to do for or to the American people if they take control of the Senate? The controlled media have displayed almost no curiosity about this central issue of Republican intentions. Everything has been focused on the vapid horse race. On the rare occasions when the Republicans have been asked, they have successfully evaded the question by mumbling a few things about building the Keystone XL pipeline, a new round of tax cuts for the rich in the form of reductions in the federal corporate income tax and other business taxes, and another round of deregulation. In an article published in USA Today in mid October, the fascist Cruz offered 10 priority issues for Republicans, including tax cuts for the rich in the form of a flat tax for individuals and a xenophobic policy towards immigrants, not to mention the famous Keystone XL pipeline.

In an interview published in the Washington Post on the day before the election, Cruz stressed his desire to begin a neo-McCarthyite witchhunt against Obama over issues of "Abuse of power, executive abuse, regulatory abuse and lawlessness that has sadly pervaded this administration." Cruz also wants to strip many millions of Americans of the healthcare they have now obtained under the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare. If there were a fighting president in the White House, it would be easy to predict the ignominious demise of hyenas like Cruz. But Obama is feckless and likely to cave, even on the most vital issues, especially if he can be convinced by his czars that rotten compromises that sellout his most devoted supporters will be seen by historians as a legacy of statesmanship. For Obama, everything notoriously comes back to himself.

Pillars of the Permanent Dictatorship of War and Austerity

Given this evidence, we can further refine the concept of the Permanent Dictatorship of Endless War and Genocidal Austerity which we have been developing in recent years. This Permanent Dictatorship represents the response by Republican leaders to the clamor from their privileged electorate to maintain rent-seeking in the midst of world economic depression, and at the same time to permit the survival of the Republican Party itself, which is doomed by demographic trends – except if the right to vote in the United States can be drastically limited. The main ingredients of the Permanent Dictatorship include the following:
The limitation of the right to vote, through the voter identification poll tax, purging of the voting rolls, the limitation of early voting, inadequate facilities for voting on election day, problems with absentee ballots, rigged election machines and massive computer-generated vote fraud of the type attempted by Republicans in 2004 and 2012. The goal here is to suppress voting by blacks, Hispanics, the young, the poor, students, and other Democratic-leaning groups. Continued control over the Supreme Court by the RATS cabal of Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and Scalia, first by making it into the KRATS cabal through the permanent absorption of Justice Kennedy, and then through further court packing with fascist judges as the situation allows. The forces of dictatorship require a court, which will rubber stamp its approval of measures to restrict and deny the voting franchise, and also to cripple or eliminate completely the role of trade unions and similar professional associations. The ability of plutocrats to buy elections must also be maintained. With unions crippled, money from Koch on the one hand, and Soros and Omidyar on the other will dominate elections at all levels, assuring both an outcome acceptable to oligarchs in general, as well as Republican ascendancy in the short to medium run. Forces favorable to the Permanent Dictatorship is see the future of the United States as a low-wage economy with a declining living standard and diminished access to higher education, advanced healthcare, and other advantages. This stands in sharp contrast to the American tradition of high wages and a rising standard of living. The austerity cools have seriously miscalculated, since the United States will scarcely be able to compete with Vietnam or Thailand in a race to the bottom for wages and working conditions. The American tradition calls for a high wage, high standard of living, high value-added, high technology, high capital intensity, and high energy intensity form of production. The austerity mania and Malthusian prejudices of Wall Street are leading politicians to imagine a future of undercutting China, when the only path to survival is a policy of developing a workforce capable of competing with and surpassing powerful high-end exporting nations like Germany and Japan. If the Republicans seize control of the Senate, they will have taken a giant step towards the Permanent Dictatorship, for which they could begin laying the groundwork in 2015 with measures for voter suppression and union busting. The final consolidation of dictatorial rule, hidden under the trappings of traditional parliamentary process, could then be completed after the 2016 presidential elections. The Republican Recipe

The fundamental contention here is that Republican rule will impose the same kind of ideological savagery which led to the government shutdown and near-default of the United States in October 2013, mostly over the Ted Cruz demand for the repeal of Obama care. The other main component is the union busting and low-wage policies of governors like Walker, Snyder, Kasich, Scott, Corbett, Brownback, and others. Cuts to education will be particularly severe, since the goal here is also to destroy the teachers' unions as the only organized formations willing to fight for a policy of free, universal, compulsory, quality education – the institution which, perhaps more than any other, has provided the bedrock for American survival.

Imagine then a regime which is two parts Ted Cruz, one part Rand Paul, three parts Walker, three parts Snyder, two parts Scott, two parts Brownback, two parts. Corbett — and you get the idea. It will be a lethal, toxic brew, which many will not survive. Do not listen, therefore, to NPR commentators who say that the stakes in this election are minimal, since gridlock will go on no matter what happens on November 4. Do not listen to foreign degenerates like Russell Brand, who are trotting out the old anarchist bromides against voting, all in the service of their paymasters in the London financial community.

Wall Street Media Give Reactionary Republicans a Free Ride

Campaigning for the midterm elections has been characterized by an unprecedented media assault on the Obama presidency, with relentless negativity and pessimism for Democratic prospects coming from news organs like the Washington Post, CBS News, the Cook Political Report, and many others. The general media narrative with which these pressstitutes hope to brainwash the American people is that Obama is desperately unpopular, and Republicans are therefore destined to win. As pollsters like Stan Greenberg have pointed out, the media narrative ignores the obvious fact that the Republican Party is far more hated than the Democrats, both in Washington and in the various state capitals. The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is especially hated because of its gridlock, obstructionism, reactionary ideological posturing, and reckless imposition of a dangerous government shutdown a year ago, which almost turned into the national bankruptcy and default of the United States (and did in fact lead to the downgrading of US debt by credit ratings agencies) — all over and ideological tantrum stoked by the sallow-faced hypocrite Ted Cruz, the Tartuffe of modern US politics.

A recent glance at Real Clear Politics shows that Obama's approval rating is currently about 42%. Compare that to the average approval of the House of Representatives, which is controlled by the Republican Party and generally identified as a Republican fiefdom, which is at about 12%. So Obama is doing 30 points better than the House Republicans — a situation which few viewers of current news coverage would ever suspect. And even here, the Republicans are benefiting from the massive anti-Obama, pro-GOP media barrage of recent months. Before the election campaigns moved into high gear, the Republican house was garnering approval ratings in the range of 6% to 8%. Even today, the most recent Wall Street Journal – NBC News poll shows the generic ballot expressing preference for which party should control the House as tied at 48% to 48%. The week before that, a Fox news poll showed the Democrats leading in the generic ballot by one percentage point– an advantage, destined, of course, to be nullified by Republican-dominated post-2010 gerrymandering.

Backlash Against Republican Governors: The Untold Story

The situation in various state elections contradicts the national brainwashing media narrative even more. Here, a large number of Republican candidates won governorships in the Tea Party agitation of 2010. These new governors had largely concealed their real plans for after they had taken power. Once ensconced in their statehouses, they began a shocking reactionary offensive of union busting, austerity cuts, the demolition of public education, sabotage of vital infrastructure projects, and similar shenanigans – all dictated by a combination of Koch brothers ideology and the oligarchical greed which refuses to be taxed for the general welfare. The two most extreme examples of this were firstly Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin, who moved immediately to deny collective-bargaining to most state employees, unleashing a statewide mass strike and later recall attempt by the labor movement and its allies. Walker has been correctly identified as the most divisive figure in Wisconsin politics since the scoundrel Senator Joe McCarthy back in the 1950s. Secondly, Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan humiliated organized labor by making Michigan, historically one of the most unionized states, into a paradise for union busters by outlawing the union shop, setting labor up for accentuated secular decline. Snyder also imposed emergency managers — appointed dictators, called by some "Little Hitlers" — on many depressed cities in his state, culminating in the bankruptcy of Detroit under just such an austerity dictator.

The same general pattern was followed by numerous reactionary Republican governors, including Scott of Florida, LePage of Maine, Brownback of Kansas, Deal of Georgia, and others. In Ohio, the reactionary Kasich tried to deprive state workers of collective-bargaining rights, but was forced to submit this measure to a 2011 statewide referendum in which he was stunningly defeated by an aroused labor movement, 61% to 39%. As a result, Kasich has moderated his anti-union and anti-worker fervor, allowing the expansion of Medicaid to low income workers in his state under the Obamacare law. Ironically, the result is that Kasich is not so threatened by the anti-Republican backlash, which is likely to topple governors in Kansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Alaska, Pennsylvania, Florida, and elsewhere.

Victorious Minimum Wage Referenda Show What Americans Want

This year, control of statehouses may look quite different from what happens in Washington, and is already diverging far away from the media narrative. Another measure of this will be found in the state referenda concerning an increase of the minimum wage, something which reactionaries like Walker have fanatically opposed. Tea Party Republicans in the house have stubbornly blocked any increase in the federal minimum wage of a wretched $7.25 an hour, so the idea is to take action at the state level. Increases of about one to two dollars per hour will be on the ballot in red states like Alaska, Arkansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota, where they are all likely to pass despite overt or covert Republican hostility. A minimum wage increase will also be on the ballot in Illinois, where Democratic Governor Pat Quinn tried living on the minimum wage for a week last summer in a highly effective political stunt. Quinn's hopes for reelection hinge largely on issues of this type. Organized labor, in the shape of the SEIU, has been demanding $15 is the minimum necessary for human dignity in modern America, and here they are on firm ground. Still, support for an increase in the minimum wage, even in Republican-dominated states, shows a deep vein of economic populism which only the Tax Wall Street Party has been willing to fully tap.

The question remains: if Obama was seen in 2008 by many media figures as a figure rich with messianic and utopian overtones, how has he become the Typhoid Mary of 2014, the lame duck from whom almost all Democratic candidates must flee?

Mechanics of Wall Street’s Control of Two-Term Presidents

The explanation lies in the basic methods of oligarchical (i.e., Wall Street) control over the modern presidency. Wall Street is determined to control the presidency, but the inherent constitutional powers of the president are always a potential threat to the zombie bankers, who therefore try to weaken, sabotage, and discredit government as much as possible – helped along by useful idiots calling themselves libertarians. Truly, the modern Republican Party has fully earned the title of Party of National Sabotage on any number of issues. During the first term of any president, the incumbent can be controlled by his need to get money from Wall Street in order to run for reelection. But, given the absurd and crippling two-term limit passed by Roosevelt-hating Republicans, how can the president be controlled in a second term, when he is unconstrained by the financial demands of a future campaign?

The answer is obviously that Wall Street and the controlled media control the second term president through scandals and negative publicity. This is the secret of Sherman Adams and the vicuna coats which plagued Eisenhower, the Watergate scandal which ousted Nixon, the Iran Contra affair which almost brought down Reagan, the Whitewatergate and Monica Lewinsky affairs against Clinton, the media attacks on George Bush the younger over his policies of war and depression, and the many real or imagined scandals which beset Obama. We must focus in particular on the virtual attempted coup d'état to deny Obama a second term in November 2012, which involved the staged Benghazi October surprise in September along with vote fraud piloted by Karl Rove and other GOP heavyweights. The failure of this coup led to the firing of a score of flag officers in the US military who had apparently gone along with this caper. The current anti-Obama deployment includes a number of turncoat officials like Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, Leon Panetta, and others who are joining with defeatist generals more hostile to Assad of Syria than to ISIS terrorism, who are all trying to maneuver Obama into yet another catastrophic land war in Southwest Asia.

GOP More than Ever Under the Thumb of Koch

The GOP donor class was shocked and demoralized by the defeat of Romney in 2012, despite personal assurances from Karl Rove that Obama was doomed. Those with inside knowledge of the dark pools of Republican money – including emphatically foreign money from hostile powers – now say that many Republican moneybags have not returned to the fray. The result is that the Koch brothers are carrying a very large share of the Republican financial burden, meaning of course that the Republicans coming to Washington in January 2015 will be owned lock, stock, and barrel by the infamous reactionary brothers. Fake populists like Walker of Wisconsin and newcomer demagogue Joni Ernst of Iowa are especially dependent on support from the Koch interests.

Populism comes in two brands. The first is economic populism, which has contributed much to human progress, from the time of Plato all the way down to Franklin D Roosevelt. A fighting economic populist could go far in the current environment. The other kind of populism is cultural populism, a poisonous demagogic mixture. Cultural populism depends on resentment against the elites, status panic, racism, hatred and fear of outsiders, and the irrational glorification of localism and particularism. Republican theorists from Kevin Phillips to Lee Atwater to Karl Rove have extolled the powers of cultural populism when it comes to manipulating gullible voters. A leading exponent of cultural populism in the current cycle is Joni Ernst, a Tea Party passionaria from Iowa. Joni Ernst attracted national attention for her first campaign ad, which discussed her vast experience in cutting pork, specifically by castrating hogs. She has also flirted with the open advocacy of the violent overthrow of the United States government, by lauding her Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol as her means for dealing with government officials who do not consider her rights "important." Inevitably, it turns out that this good old farm girl is a satellite of the Koch Empire. Back in 2010, the Tea Party candidate for Senate in Nevada was the infamous Sharon Angle, who severely wounded her own campaign by raving about "Second Amendment remedies" she thought available to those who were willing to shoot government officials. Sharon Angle was duly torn to pieces in the media for these incendiary remarks. This time around, Joni Ernst is every bit as subversive as Sharon Angle, but Joni has paid a far smaller price for her verbal excesses. This shows once again that the news media are following the pro-Republican Wall Street line for 2014, and the Democrats are demoralized and disoriented.

In addition to their status as warmongers and austerity ghouls, Republicans have also held fast to their signature tradition of racism. In 1988, George Bush the elder used the racist Willie Horton ads against the feckless Dukakis. The equivalent in this cycle is considered to be the desperate attack ad by Nebraska Republican Lee Terry, who is facing imminent defeat at the hands of Democrat Brad Ashford. Terry's ad accuses Ashford of freeing a black convicted robber with time off for good behavior, after which the convict carried out for murders. As in the case of Willie Horton, the visual effects of the ad amount to a blatant appeal to racism, itself a subset of cultural populism.

Economic Populism Needed, Not Cultural Populism

The atmosphere for the current elections is radically anti-historical. Otherwise, voters might remember that cultural populist tricks, props, and dodges have been the tools of manipulation since time immemorial. Ronald Reagan cultivated jellybeans. George Bush the elder installed a horseshoe pit at the White House. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee ran for president based on the fact that he wore a plaid shirt. George Bush the younger had a hobby of clearing brush at his rented ranch when cameras were near. Other candidates have used motorcycles to show how folksy they were. Scott Brown, currently a carpetbag contender in New Hampshire, took Ted Kennedy's old seat with the famous prop of a pickup truck. Of course, once he got into office, Scott Brown drove his pickup truck through the already weakened provisions of the Volcker rule contained in the Dodd Frank legislation, all in the service of his owners, including the State Street Bank. Cultural populism, in short, is nothing but a con job used to dupe the suckers that do indeed seem to be born every minute.

Example of what an economic populist pitch might sound like in the current cycle, making due allowances for the inherent weakness of the Democratic Party, comes from Mitch McConnell's highly disciplined antagonist, Ms. Grimes. Here is her reaction to the Revelation of the McConnell-Koch secret tape:
"Just this morning, The Nation released shocking new audio that sheds more light on what and who Mitch McConnell is fighting for: the Koch brothers and their radical agenda against working families. We’ve always known Mitch McConnell was on the side of millionaires and billionaires, but we never knew just how willing he'd be to sell out hardworking Kentuckians in search of power for himself when he thought no one was listening. These millionaires and billionaires are paying him back: his campaign is bankrolled by shadowy outside groups. You better believe they want something in return for the tens of millions of dollars they're pumping into our race…. The fact that he was caught on tape selling out working families just to raise money for his party is more evidence that we simply can’t trust Mitch McConnell to fight for us. He just doesn't get it. McConnell promised his party's rich backers that he stands with them and against raising the minimum wage, extending unemployment insurance and helping Kentuckians with college affordability, no matter the cost to Kentuckians and this nation. McConnell's radical agenda will devastate working families. We deserve better and we've got to stop him." Whatever the obvious limitations seen here, this approach is much better than a campaign based on global warming, campaign finance reform, or various petty bourgeois process reforms.

Ironically, the oligarchical dynasties which dominate politics, especially in southern states, may end up helping the Democrats. Candidates with names like Nunn in Georgia, Landrieu in Louisiana, Pryor in Arkansas, Begich in Alaska, and the just-cited Grimes in Kentucky all represent entrenched family-centered political machines which may provide a margin of survival for these candidates.

The other side of the coin is that many of these same candidates have chosen to stay on the defensive and repudiate Obama, rather than assuming the necessary offense of posture of attacking Republicans for gridlock, government shutdown, killer austerity, warmongering, and a host of other obvious issues. In particular, white female Democratic candidates like Nunn in Georgia, Landrieu in Louisiana, Hagen in North Carolina, Grimes in Kentucky, Shaheen in New Hampshire, and quite a few House candidates are desperately appealing for support from black voters, even as they belittle Obama, whom the black community overwhelmingly supports. This paradoxical situation has required Obama to go on black media and personally urge his backers to disregard the slurs coming from these white women, and vote for the Democrat nonetheless, since they support his program.

#2164: Marine Links Oakhanger Bypass to Serco Air Force Red-Switch Trigger, Virgin Shuttlecock Murder

Abel Danger - Tue, 11/04/2014 - 14:37
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Obama's bypass of the U.S. National Command Authority at Oakhanger, Hampshire UK to Serco's alleged transmission of telemetry trigger signals through the Air Force Red Switch Network to prematurely deploy shuttlecock "feathers" on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo and use the disintegration of the spacecraft to camouflage the murder of co-pilot Michael Asbury.

McConnell believes that Serco's Gary Butcher and Bob Coulling directed the development of the Oakhanger bypass to support outsourced mil-sat and man-in-the-middle telemetry attacks on the United States, relayed through the Defense Red Switch Network and FAA Contract Towers.

McConnell invites Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson to a briefing on the world's largest air traffic controller Serco and its alleged use of the Oakhanger facilty to bypass SpaceShipTwo telemetry and generate a wag the dog shuttlecock story to cover the murder of Michael Asbury.

McConnell also invites Sir Richard to conduct a private investigation of Gary Butcher, the Serco Telemetry and Command Station Manager at RAF Oakhanger, and the 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling with all of their tradecraft skills needed to conceal the Virgin shuttlecock murder, especially Coulling’s experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

"SpaceShipTwo 'Feather' Tail System Deployed Prematurely: NTSB
BY M. ALEX JOHNSON
NTSB: Device deployed early in Virgin Galactic crash

Still, Hart said that "there's much more that we don't know" and that "we are a long way from finding the cause." He emphasized that he was only reporting facts that had been gathered to date and not any conclusions as to the accident's cause.”

"RAF Oakhanger was the home of No 1001 Signal Unit, responsible for supporting satellite communications services for the British Armed Forces worldwide. The unit was made up of four sub-units; Space Operations, Ground Operations, Telemetry and Control and Support with subordinate detachments based at RAF Rudloe Manor, RAF Colerne and RAF Defford.

Space Squadron was responsible for flying a constellation of Skynet satellites, up to the fourth iteration of six space vehicles which supported Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force units.

Ground services took responsibility for planning the routing of traffic via the space vehicles, from a number of locations in the United Kingdom to either stationary ground terminals such as Germany, Cyprus, Ascension Island and the Falkland Islands or tactical ground terminals, mounted in ships or vehicles and operated by Tactical Communications Wing, 30 Signal Regiment, 16 Signal Regiment, 264 (SAS) Signal Squadron or the Royal Marines Signal Squadrons.[2]

Current use [edit]

"New military hotline [operated by Serco] directly links top brass to U.S. [and allegedly the Oakhanger bypass telemetry systems used by Serco for ad hoc contract killing]

Canada is installing a hotline that will allow military brass and politicians to talk with their American counterparts during a time of war or in any other crisis.
BY THE OTTAWA CITIZEN JANUARY 14, 2006

Canada is installing a hotline that will allow military brass and politicians to talk with their American counterparts during a time of war or in any other crisis.

About $20 million is being spent on what is called the Defence Red Switch Network. The communications system is already running in some locations, including the defence minister's office and other undisclosed sites for the military's senior leadership. The system will provide a link for the Canadian government to various U.S. military headquarters as well as the North American Aerospace Defence Command, the joint U.S.-Canada alliance that monitors air and space approaches to the continent.

After the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, there was criticism that senior Canadian officials, including then-prime minister Jean Chretien, were out of the communications loop during the initial stages of the terrorist strike.

The Citizen obtained documents on the red switch network under the access to information law, but Defence Department officials censored almost all details. They claimed releasing the material would be "injurious" to the defense of Canada, its international relations, as well as the detection of subversive or hostile activities.

The newspaper, however, found the details of the supposedly secret network, including its cost to taxpayers, on the department's own public webpage. Details of a similar system that would allow U.S. President George W. Bush to communicate with his top level commanders was also on a Pentagon webpage.

Canadian military officials were not available to explain why information about the network is considered secret when such details have already been put out in the public domain by both the U.S. and Canada.

The red switch network is considered secure, meaning that it has technology to prevent its transmissions from being monitored or intercepted [Except for the Heartbleed bug]. Presumably the Canadian system can link up with the president's network.

Martin Shadwick, a strategic studies professor with York University, said such a system makes sense in that Canada and the U.S. share a common goal in protecting North America. He noted that similar communications systems existed during the Cold War.

But analyst Steve Staples said the hotline is another example of the growing integration of the U.S. and Canadian militaries and the increased involvement of the Canadian Forces in American-led operations. "This system just allows the Canadian military and government leaders to get their orders from Washington more quickly," said Mr. Staples, an analyst with the Ottawa-based Polaris Institute.

The Citizen requested information on the red switch network almost four weeks ago, but military officials have not been available to comment.

But according to the Defence webpage, the network "allows access to the U.S. system (Forces wide) and will enhance north/south and internal connectivity -- particularly during times of crisis."

According to a Pentagon site, the network provides the president, secretary of defence, joint chiefs of staff, combatant commanders and selected agencies with secure voice communications up to the top secret level. The system is for use during war and other emergencies. Other U.S. defence and federal government agencies can access the network if they have approval from the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, according to the site. The website also includes a [Serco!] phone number that U.S. government officials can call to request entry to the network.

Mr. Staples said the level of secrecy in Canada surrounding the network is disturbing. "I think the Defence Department is worried that Canadians are going to realize the extent our military is being integrated into the U.S. system," he added.

Critics have warned about a new wave of secrecy at the Defence Department. Officials there are censoring information in official documents released to the public even though the same material is already available on government Internet sites. Some critics say this blanket of secrecy raises questions about government accountability and openness. Last week, the Citizen reported the Defence Department is withholding information about the Pentagon's missile shield that is already on the U.S. government's websites, while at the same time claiming the security of Canada could be harmed if the names of senior American officers treated to a taxpayer-financed reception more than a year ago are released.

In addition, the newspaper obtained two missile shield briefing notes sent to Defence Minister Bill Graham. The department had originally told both the newspaper and an investigator with the Office of the Information Commissioner that those records, one of which discusses U.S. efforts to develop space weapons, never existed.

#2163: Marine Links Serco Ad Hoc Crime Scenes to Montreal Controller's Contract Killers, Virgin Death By Feathers

Abel Danger - Mon, 11/03/2014 - 22:32
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Serco's use of tagged offenders for the spoliation of evidence at ad hoc crime scenes to the contract killers – allegedly sponsored by "The Controller", a quarterly publication of the Montreal-based International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations (IFATCA) – who appear to have overridden telemetry signals to prematurely deploy "feathers" on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo which led to the disintegration of the spacecraft and the wrongful death of co-pilot Michael Asbury.

McConnell believes that over the last 20 years, Serco has integrated FAA Contract Towers with the Defense Red Switch Network and Skynet mil-sat communications at RAF Oakhanger so that The IFATCA Controller's hit teams could impute ad hoc way-points into the flight plans of hijacked aircraft, trigger crashes by manipulating the telemetry and pre-position ground crews to remove evidence of Montreal murder for hire.

McConnell invites Virgin CEO Sir Richard Branson to contact him for a briefing on the world's largest air traffic controller Serco and The Montreal Controller's alleged use of SpaceShipTwo telemetry to crash the plane and generate a wag the dog story of exploding rocket engines.

McConnell also invites Sir Richard to conduct a private investigation of Gary Butcher, the Serco Telemetry and Command Station Manager at RAF Oakhanger, and the 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling and his tradecraft skills needed for the Virgin feather death and wag the dog script, especially Coulling's experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

"SpaceShipTwo Feathering System Prematurely Deployed before Fatal BreakupPosted by Jason Davis2014/11/03 17:33 UTC
Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo disintegrated shortly after the vehicle's tail stabilizers prematurely deployed, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. Friday's crash killed co-pilot Michael Asbury and injured pilot Peter Siebold. The exact cause of the accident is still unknown, and acting NTSB Chair Christopher A. Hart cautioned against drawing conclusions from the initial findings.
"I would like to emphasize that what I'm about to say is a statement of fact, and not a statement of cause," Hart said, speaking at a late Nov. 2 press conference. There, he used two models of SpaceShipTwo to show how the vehicle "feathers" during reentry. Under normal operations, SpaceShipTwo is flown to a pre-determined altitude and released by its carrier aircraft, WhiteKnightTwo. For Friday's test, this happened at about 50,000 feet.
Shortly after SpaceShipTwo is released, it ignites its rocket engine and pitches upward, flying into a high arc designed to eventually reach the boundary of space. After the spaceship reaches apogee—the highest point of its flight—the vehicle's twin tails rotate upward, stabilizing and slowing SpaceShipTwo as it reenters the atmosphere.
It is not clear what the intended sequence of events was for Friday's test flight, but Hart said that the feathering system deployed prematurely. In order to feather the vehicle, two levers must be moved inside the cockpit. One unlocks the system, and the second deploys the stabilizers.
"About nine seconds after the engine ignited, the telemetry data showed us that the feather parameters changed from lock to unlock," Hart said. The telemetry data was confirmed by a camera inside the cockpit that showed co-pilot Asbury moving the handle. Normally, the feathers are not unlocked until the vehicle reaches Mach 1.4, Hart said. On Friday, Asbury unlocked the feathers around Mach 1.0.
However, neither pilot commanded the feathers to deploy. Shortly after the system was unlocked, the tail stabilizers began moving into their feather positions. Moments later, telemetry and video data stopped. The engine burn was normal up to the extension of the feathers, Hart said. This information runs contrary to speculation that the accident may have been caused by the engine, which was using a new fuel mixture during the flight. Scaled Composites, SpaceShipTwo's contractor, said the engine had been tested on the ground "many times," according to company president Kevin Mickey.
Hart said pieces of SpaceShipTwo, which are spread over a wide swatch of the Mojave Desert, are being moved into a hangar. "Among other things, [the investigators] found the fuel tanks, the oxidizer tanks, and the engine. All were intact and showed no signs of burn-through, and no signs of being breached," he said.
Because Friday's accident was a test flight, NTSB officials have a wealth of telemetry and video data to sift through. "There's much more that we don't know," Hart said, "and our investigation is far from over."

This promotional video from Virgin Galactic shows the third powered flight of SpaceShipTwo, which took place Jan. 10, 2014. The vehicle's feathering system can be seen in action at 1:46.

Medical Disaster Capitalism - Scott Gottlieb, Medical Mafia Racketeer, Shills for Thomas "Ebola" Frieden's Lethal Lies - Vaccine Stock Insider Trading - Remove the Tumor of Big Pharma - To Defeat Parasitism, Vote Out All Incumbents on Nov. 4

The Best Way to Fight Ebola in America Is to Vote Out All Incumbents on Election Day, November 4. Entrenched corruption – the incumbents are reelected 95% of the time. Polls show 56% of Americans would like all incumbents defeated, but 95 percent of them are always re-elected. The problem is that the idea of voting out all incumbents never spreads: it is a good idea that stays just an idea. But the concept is so simple, and what it demands of you is so little: just vote for the mainstream candidate running against the incumbent Congressman or Senator.

The election is on Tuesday. Have you shared the idea with anybody?

Answering Scott Gottlieb's defense of CDC Director Thomas Frieden, and exposing Medical Disaster Capitalism's role in the Ebola Epidemic

Dr. Scott Gottlieb
Dr. Thomas Frieden
Ebola is Medical Disaster Capitalism. Quarantine was prevented so that vaccines could prosper and political enemies can be purged, under the guise of isolating anyone and everyone these rogues choose to suspect has Ebola.

And so Dr. Frieden ruled out the intelligent and appropriate quarantine when such would be timely (it is still timely!) and told people, backing his assertion with lies, that quarantines were unnecessary – until such time as Ebola has come in through the wide open door and taken hold among our general population, perhaps three or four weeks from now. Then will be imposed the full military-enforced grab-and-isolate quarantine that was written up as a protocol during the panic afforded by 9-11.

Drs. Frieden and Gottlieb are part of a criminal conspiracy that will result in the loss of millions of lives unnecessarily, which could have been prevented – which Frieden, in his capacity as the nation's top disease control official, had the responsibility of preventing, choosing instead to take actions and make statements that helped the Ebola virus towards a successful invasion of this population.

FIrst, who published the Scott Gottlieb article in defense of CDC Director Thomas Frieden?

Forbes magazine, which sells its detailed knowledge of the richest people in the world, whose chairman and editor-in-chief is Steve Forbes, who was a leading adviser of John McCain in his presidential campaign, and one of the biggest campaign supporters of Rudolph Giuliani and Ron Paul (gold standard, and cure debt crisis with austerity and liquidation candidate, who thinks too much money in the hands of people causes depressions). Steve Forbes is a neocon: he was one of the signers of the Statement of Principles of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) on June 3, 1997, and is a regular commentator on the Fox News television program Forbes on Fox. Forbes magazine's CEO Mike Perlis is the former publisher of the Playboy pornography empire, succeeding Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

To defend Dr. Frieden (and his investments?), Steve Forbes picked Dr. Scott Gottlieb.

Here is Gottlieb's article – answered paragraph by paragraph:

In the Ebola fight, a defense of embattled CDC Chief Thomas Frieden

Scott Gottlieb, MD
October 17, 2014 (Forbes)

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: The response by public health officials and local providers to the first case of Ebola diagnosed on U.S. soil has been marked by some tragic missteps. Mistakes have resulted in the avoidable secondary spread of the infection to healthcare workers. This is an appalling outcome to a crisis that we expected. But, sadly, it should neither be surprising, nor foretell a future marked by continued blunders. Nor does the blame rest with CDC chief Thomas Frieden. The bottom line is this: there is a lot we don’t know when it comes to Ebola. We have never dealt with an outbreak of Ebola virus in a modern, urban setting. All of the past outbreaks were in rural villages where residents were more easily sequestered, and the virus contained while it burned itself out in these remote locales. We have never dealt with an outbreak in an advanced healthcare system. Our sophisticated medical care offers some additional protections and opportunities. But our style of invasive critical medicine also creates additional risks to providers.

We don’t fully understand this Ebola strain. There is speculation from top experts that the virus might have drifted in ways that could make it spread more easily – for example, mounting higher loads of viral particles earlier in the course of illness. In short, we are treading on uncharted ground.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: It is just because Ebola is spreading to what you call a "modern, urban setting", where transportation mixing of people is so fast and fluid; because "we are treading on uncharted ground"; and because, as you say, "there is speculation from top experts" that the virus is "mounting higher loads of viral particles earlier in the course of the illness" – that Thomas Frieden's defense strategy for containing is so unmistakably wrong, irresponsible, negligent, and – given his and your conflict of interest – more than just suspicious: it's almost certain to lead to many more deaths, perhaps millions more deaths.

Thomas Frieden was faced with something new, something unpredictable – you and he have said it – and what did he do? He, for no reason, ruled out the first and greatest defense against epidemic and pandemic – the quarantine – and he closed the discussion. Not only did he assert, contrary to what you call "top experts", that the virus is not contagious before the hemorrhagic fever symptoms appear; but in a crisis that threatens the nation with a pandemic, he cut us off from one avenue of defense, from any form of quarantine (and there are many types of quarantine, some more suited to stopping Ebola than others – more on this later), while at the same time denying that the virus in the blood between initial viral infection and disease symptoms – a period that lasts, on average, 11 days, and which can last 21 days, and in a few cases up to six weeks. He used known falsehoods to justify the elimination of our best defense.

Isolation and tracing of individuals have their place; but when carriers cannot be recognized, and the virus in the blood at that time is even more contagious than AIDS, then what Frieden has done is open the door to an invasion, fail to give the proper warning, conceal the true nature of the threat. There is no medical or scientific research journal that reports any study – and no textbook in microbiology, virology, or epidemiology that maintains – that the blood infected with Ebola virions is not contagious, is not a platform by which the disease can spread before symptoms appear. The WTO made the outrageous statement on its information webpage – but with no documentation to support it, and without the name of any doctor taking responsibility for that false claim.

Dr. Frieden has ties to the pharmaceutical industry – as you do, Dr. Gottlieb – but he doesn't have your reputation as a Wall Street insider, with ties to Goldman Sachs and the Rockefeller-backed anti-population American Enterprise Institute, or to VaxGen, or your experience as writer of the biotechnology investment newsletter the Gilder Biotech Report and editor of the Forbes/Gottlieb Medical Technology Investor. Dr. Jerome Kassirer, former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, got it right when he said, "Gottlieb has an orientation which belies the goal of the FDA."

No one before had ever moved so quickly from Wall Street to such a high public health position. You, Gottlieb, wrote an article for doctors and medical researchers called "Moving Your Career from Wall Street to Main Street", in which you were clearly selling doctors on the benefits of their providing (leaking) details of their drug research to biotech investment firms. Frieden is not as pro-vaccine a careerist as your career indicates you to be – and Wall Street makes no money from effective quarantines that stop epidemics, that stop perhaps millions or tens of millions of people from being consumers of vaccines that Wall Street companies have already invested in. But Frieden did tell an ABC morning anchor that one reason for not quarantining West Africa by travel restrictions was that it would "destabilize those emerging democracies" – a very odd priority for the man charged with containing a virus that kills more than 50 percent of those it infects and may be carried in the blood of its hosts weeks before symptoms disclose that their blood has contained the active Ebola filovirus all that time.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: There is no dogma when it comes to Ebola. Indeed, if our political leaders had shown more humility on describing the risk, and our ability to contain it, public confidence might not be so badly shaken. If only they had not been so absolute in declaring that there is zero risk of airborne transmission (when we know that there is a risk of 'droplet' spread). If only they had not been so outright in arguing that there is zero risk of transmission before someone gets a fever (we know some patients present with other symptoms first, even after they are viremic, and don’t mount high fevers). If only President Obama hadn't taped a weird video for Liberians declaring that you can't get Ebola by sitting next to an infected person on a bus; at the same time U.S. hazmat teams were wrapping a building in plastic over a suspected Ebola case. Enter CDC director Dr. Thomas Frieden. And listen closely. His public comments in all of these regards, while too bold in hindsight, have been far more nuanced than other leaders', including those of his boss, the President of the United States. And his dominion over this fight is far more restricted than most appreciate.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: What are you trying to pull? It was the WTO that first made the claim – and Thomas Frieden repeated it again and again with immunologist Anthony S. Fauci (head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) right beside him, backing him up. You dare blame this misinformation about the most critical aspects of the Ebola epidemic issue on the lack of humility of politicians – when these two men stood before Congress who asked them about dangers of contagion, and they themselves provided this misinformation.

Frieden and Fauci are the experts in whom the country's defense against a viral pandemic is entrusted. They lied, misinforming the public about the most basic information needed to devise a proper quarantine defense. Then they used their lie to justify rejecting the use of any quarantine, relying instead on isolating known infecteds, and tracing and watching people the known infecteds have come in contact with. This in itself is a serious crime, but of equal importance is the answer to the question: Why did they systematically lie and deliberately rule out our first line of defense?

Perhaps the fact that Scott Gottlieb is the only man rushing to Frieden's defense gives us a clue. You talk about Frieden's statements being too bold, but what they really are is false and lethal – he said the disease could not spread in the U.S. because of our modern facilities – I directly contradict your claim above. He ventured, on his own authority and position, that no quarantine was necessary and that the Ebola virus was not contagious between the moment of infection and the first symptoms coming, on average, 11 days later, and up to 21 days later.

Where was Frieden taking risks into account? He ruled out quarantine when quarantine was most needed, and here you are – with a background at Wall Street of recommending vaccine corporations to investors – backing Frieden up in this horrible betrayal of trust, and opening up millions of people to risks of hemorrhagic fever they need not have been exposed to.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: Don’t get me wrong. The CDC plays a critical role. But the assets that are key to responding to a public health emergency of this magnitude aren't under his control.

Many belong to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), while other assets and authorities fall under the direction of the Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response. As for the heavy resources and personnel on the ground in West Africa, they belong to the Pentagon. The CDC plays a very specialized role in monitoring and advising on outbreaks. But it doesn't own the containment tools. Many of those belong to local authorities, and DHS. And Frieden, after all, is playing with a thin bench. In an unprecedented mobilization for the agency, the CDC has forward-deployed about 200 of its best people to West Africa to stop the epidemic where it, quite literally, threatens to spread in an almost apocalyptic proportion that could eventually threaten a global pandemic.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: Frieden has been given charge of the Centers for Disease Control, a corporation which has an official status and, in most organizational charts in civics textbooks, has charge of protecting the country against epidemics, especially viral epidemics where the disease resulting from infection kills over 50 percent of all who are infected (90% for the Zaire strain of Ebola, 70% for the Sudan strain). Whether we are confronted with a new strain has not been determined; but if it is a new strain, then how could Frieden possibly have made his confident assertion about the virus being non-infectious before the symptoms appear?!

And here you are defending this man – saying that he doesn't have the resources at his command. If he were competent, he would make the right decisions – he is not doing so – and he would demand that all other agencies step aside to provide what is needed – and he has not done so. And here you are, Scott Gottlieb, defending this man at a time when every minute Frieden is in command at the CDC, the virus is being given a free pass. And don't talk about "unprecedented mobilization": Frieden has mobilized soldiers and sent them to West Africa; here, he has done nothing but isolate cases after they show symptoms. He lets in those who have been close to carriers in West Africa – lets them come here and move around freely, simply because they are not manifesting the symptoms that can come more than two weeks after the host's blood has become infected. Frieden is an enemy of humanity as bad as Ebola itself, and you are his accomplice in giving him cover.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: And before one begrudges the CDC the decision of putting its people in the field in Africa while we face risks at home, our eventual fate rests on what happens in West Africa. If we don’t break the virus there, it will arrive on our shores with a vengeance. To be sure, Frieden is the Obama Administration’s spokesperson on this issue. But he has not been made their quarterback. The White House is still holding the ball, or better yet, hiding it in some kind [of] trick play while the defense chases after Frieden. And even now, the CDC is learning from their mistakes in a prompt fashion – not on government bureaucracy time. On private sector time, on Google GOOGL +0.98% time. The CDC has changed the protocols for how they will treat patients. They are moving toward a strategy of creating “centers of excellence” to manage cases, so they can assert more control over the clinical parameters of how patients are cared for.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: That would be a lunatic statement if you believed it yourself. But I know that you know that the soldiers are in Africa to become carriers – carriers who will come home with the virus, and carriers who will join their military unit in places overseas when their tour of West African Ebola duty is over. Soldiers know nothing of the protocols of safety. The best thing to do for Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone is send them plastic tents, plastic containers for waste, food, money; and insructions on both isolation, tracing, and proper quarantine procedures. Anything they need, they can do themselves if given equipment and provided good instructions – honest and complete instructions, with no holding back for the sake of bigger vaccine profits later on.

And if Frieden is not the quarterback, then isn't it the height of irresponsibility for him not to say so – for him not to declare what quarterback moves and passes he should make, and why they are necessary – and raise hell until all resources to execute his strategy are made? But he is not doing that. He is, in fact, making calls that amount to fumbling the ball, and even tossing the ball to the other team – to the Ebola filovirus team. And you, Gottlieb, are here laying down a set of excuses that Frieden can fall back on when his epic tragic failure is finally understood, when Ebola makes its killing, and when the investors you have been advising, Gottlieb, make theirs.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: The CDC has changed the protocols for how they will treat patients. They are moving toward a strategy of creating "centers of excellence" to manage cases, so they can assert more control over the clinical parameters of how patients are cared for.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: Yes, and when the nurse in Dallas contracted Ebola, Frieden blamed her and the hospital for not following the protocols. Those protocols already existed, and that was what he was trusting – he had cut out quarantine possibilities. But this is a new virus in a new environment.

Frieden cut out a quarantine option, just went with isolation and tracing of contacts instead, and relied on hospital treatment protocols to protect – even as he leaves carriers of transmissible contagion to enter the country freely and wander where they like. Their Ebola-infected blood has hundreds of ways it can migrate from a host to another person: just brush your finger where there is blood or feces (which contains blood cells); or blood from menstruation gets on a faucet, door handle, or grasp bar in a toilet stall in a public restroom, then it transfers onto someone's hand, then the person later touches their finger to their lips, an eye, or some open skin from an insect bite that they have been scratching, or even a paper cut. The possibilities are endless – but each one ends with a new person contracting a disease which has a better than 50% chance of killing them, and a chance well above zero of infecting one or more people before they even know they have caught Ebola.

So what the hell is this about CDC creating "centers of excellence"? What is the CDC – efficiency experts for an automobile assembly line? Are you asking us to trust Frieden because he has started a program called "centers of excellence"?

Gottlieb, you must be meshuga!
Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: This is no easy feat. Compare the CDC’s real-time learning and situational awareness with the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA told Bloomberg this week that it would likely require placebo-controlled trials for the testing of Ebola therapeutics, despite the urgency of expediting access to promising drugs, the well-understood lethality of the disease, and the grim fate faced by those obligated to placebo. The CDC is adjusting to match the scope of the threat. The FDA is reaching for its traditional toolbox.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: The job of defending a country and helping other countries defend themselves against Ebola requires deployment of the right strategy immediately. And where it is uncertain which strategy is most effective, then take the best steps you know, and learn as you go. But what has Frieden done? Not knowing what works, he has shut down the whole collection of quarantine protection systems, using none of them. He has different lines of defense. One is containment. One is quarantine. When you are unsure of one, is it smart to rule out the use of the other – especially when common sense and the nature of the virus (the facts that are known to us) tell us that there is a long period when carriers can be infecting people before it becomes known that they are carriers? Only quarantines address and solve that problem. Frieden has ruled it out – and you, Gottlieb, are defending him, knowing very well what he has done. No one should trust Frieden or you. You both should be investigated to discover the full extent of your involvement in fostering an Ebola epidemic, through doing exactly the opposite of what should be done to keep it from spreading death across the country.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: Finally, there is the issue of leadership. And here Frieden deserves more benefit of our many doubts. If we manage to get the Ebola epidemic under control in West Africa, and stave off larger outbreaks in the U.S., a lot of the credit will go to this man. When we look back, the turning point, or at least the start of the beginning of the turning point, may well be the trip Frieden took to West Africa earlier last month. When he returned, he had a grim report that clearly instigated the White House to begin a more robust relief effort. His dire warnings and outspoken portents were unusually frightening, and exceptional rhetoric for a public health leader to use. It was perhaps unprecedented for a CDC head in modern times.

Frieden got well in front of his boss, The President of the United States. He forced the White House to action. This is not an easy task for a subordinate leader in a political system, and seems to be an even harder task in Obama’s Washington.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: What an outrageous claim. Nigeria is Ebola-free because it early banned, by quarantine, persons from Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea from entering the country. They adopted a nationwide program where everyone would protect themsleves and their families by acting as if everyone could be carrying the contagion in their blood. This worked. They did not have Thomas Frieden giving them orders. It is madness that the person charged with our protection from Ebola has permitted the president to send thousands of troops to the infected regions where they can contract the disease. The disease can spread easily from contact with blood escaping the body of an Ebola-infected victim – even one not yet showing symptoms. Thomas Frieden has done nothing about that – and has denied before Congress, and on countless news programs, that such a thing is even possible.

Frieden's going to Africa earns no credit. His job is to find the proper strategy. Photo ops in Africa – going where our troops are – is no substitute for knowing the enemy, how the enemy is attacking, and what the best defense should be. There is no way that Frieden decided to send ignorant troops – with no training and no experience with the protocols that have already failed again and again – into Ebola country to actually stop the epidemic. Frieden has opened the doors to the invaders. And here you are, Gottlieb – a man who has spent years getting investors into biotech industries, and recommending pharmaceutical companies for their portfolios; a man who has written, for the Rockefeller-funded American Enterprise Institute, an article called "Public Roulette and the Public Health"; a man who joined NEA as a Venture Partner in 2007, specializing in medical research investments; and who has been a director of American Pathology Partners, Medavante, and Aptiv Solutions, a member of GlaxoSmithKline's Product Investment Board, and previously a director of Bravo Health and of Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals (MIPI). Yes, Scott Gottlieb, you are exactly the kind of man I would expect to be picked by Steve Forbes to write a defense of Thomas Frieden, who is so obviously working very hard to keep quarantines from denying certain pharmaceutical companies, and the billionaires who invest in them, the very big revenues they will receive from the sale of vaccines in a world pandemic of Ebola filovirus.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: Frieden is being scapegoated in the media. He might have earned some of the scorn by taking so many turns at the podium. My hunch? A White House that didn’t want to own another evolving debacle abandoned him on the lectern and forced him to the microphone. Lots of tests still remain for the CDC. When the outbreaks in the U.S. grow in scope and frequency, how will the CDC use its expansive quarantine authority, which it has failed to fully define? Out of a sense of urgency, or panic, will it implement this broad authority with no frills, trampling people's rights? Will the CDC be able to manage a growing volume of cases with their current pool of epidemiologists? Will the CDC adapt its advice and protocols should the virus evolve its biology? And are the agency's scientists poised to understand this evolution in time to modify their policies?

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: This last statement of yours is a truly amazing piece of work. You say Frieden is being scapegoated by the media. They asked him questions and he anwered them. He told falsehoods about when the infected carrier becomes a source of contagion – hiding from the public up to three weeks of vulnerability that he denied and still denies exists. He needed to be before the media telling the truth, and he needed to be in his office issuing directives to provide the quarantine and isolation procedures that would stop this virus. He did not. And you are saying that somehow the guilt is on the news media, and that they are passing their sins onto the innocent scapegoat – the head of the CDC. And you, his loyal admirer Gottlieb, say it wasn't his fault.

But then you say here something that is very interesting and important for the citizen to note. You say, "When the outbreaks in the U.S. grow in scope and frequency, how will the CDC use its expansive quarantine authority?" What an admission is here! Here is the man, Frieden, who denied the need for quarantines and said he was almost certain that Ebola would not reach epidemic proportions here. And here you are, Gottlieb, defending him. You yourself are saying that you expect the outbreaks to "grow in scope and frequency" (i.e., an epidemic). Now that the virus has entered the country and been scattered all around the country by carriers who are contagious – but without symptoms for weeks before they are spotted and identified – you know the carriers are there and that nothing will stop them from growing in numbers, because Frieden did not give us the right quarantine at the right time.

But now you are looking ahead with full expectation that quarantine will be employed INSIDE THE USA – now that you and Frieden have let Ebola in. And THIS kind of quarantine will be entirely different from the quarantine that was actually needed to stop the virus from entering. This quarantine – which Frieden will authorize and defend with all of the certainly and authority he used to kill the notion of a quarantine before – will be a quarantine very attractive to organized crime in control of government. This will be a military quarantine, where people are arrested and taken away because they are suspected of having Ebola virus – just as our soldiers are practicing doing in Africa right now, I suspect, and as is happening in Sierra Leone and Liberia: people taken away are simply disappearing, without being heard from again. The families of these people just have the word of the authorities that their family member died of Ebola. A perfect way to conduct a Stalinist political purge without being accused of being a totalitarian dictator – after all, you are just protecting the people in an epidemic with a quarantine, right?

Clearly, that is the move this government has been planning, long before Dr. Frieden told Congress that he did not expect an outbreak in the U.S., and that the disease cannot be caught from people before they show the symptoms that come, on average, 11 days after infection. You knew, Gottlieb. The government knew, and Frieden had his deceiver role to play to make this possible – possible for government by organized crime that wants to purge itself of enemies, under the cover of taking Ebola carriers and "suspected" carriers to quarantine centers where, if they die, no one gets to see the body because "it is infected". But of course there is the reward for the success of this operation: the fat profits to be earned by investors who knew to bet on corporations making certain vaccines that millions – billions around the world – will soon be buying.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: We stand at a precarious moment – with the virus accelerating its spread in West Africa. If that contagion continues, and grows, the virus will move to more populous nations like Nigeria, and then eventually emerging markets – where it may well become epidemic. India and Latin America are at grave risk in this circumstance.

If that happens, we will be battling here in the U.S. increasingly larger and more frequent outbreaks. We will be in this fight for a long time. Absent a drug or vaccine that can thwart Ebola, at that point the virus could literally change human history. The stakes are that high. But the CDC is not the nexus of the problem. And so far, it has been the only agency coming up with practical solutions, and learning what it doesn’t know. They are on the ground. They are adapting to the fight. We would be better prepared if our other agencies, and our President, shared their aplomb.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: The CDC has the responsibility of being the "nexus" of the solution! It should operate under the old and true principles of medicine: to save lives, to prevent the spread of disease, to take the measures necessary to protect people from infection. Frieden did just the opposite, and is still doing just the opposite. He forbade quarantine. He lied about the virus being contagious only after someone is visibly sick with hemorrhagic fever – everyone "knows" that now, thanks to him, and it is not true! They are in great danger of getting the disease weeks before the carrier shows signs of the deadly disease that comes eventually to those who carry the virus. Talk about the Nazi Dr. Mengele! Here is a monster masquerading as a doctor of medicine: anyone who kills his patients, who gives medical advice or makes administrative decisions knowing that his decision could kill millions – when another decision, a life-saving decision, was available – is certainly no doctor, regardless of title or certification. And you have demonstrated that you are one of these too, Gottlieb.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: Federal and state governments must have a factual basis to support a quarantine. There must be a plausible reason to believe that a person placed in quarantine was exposed to a suspect pathogen, or might be incubating the disease. But it's left mostly up to the government to develop that basis. And it needn't be a high bar.

The quarantine also needs to be discriminating. The government can't quarantine an entire city, for example. But the government could quarantine an entire plane if it was believed that an airborne pathogen was released inside; or an entire classroom of children if one child might have exposed others to a virus.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: There was a factual basis to support a quarantine from the very first. The Ebola disease was well understood in all of the important particulars. The fact that the virus attacks the entire body, that it moves through the bloodstream, that it can be in the bloodsteam replicating and distributing itself for up to three weeks before the disease that the virus causes appears (hemorrhagic fever). Once hemorrhagic fever begins, the victim begins to bleed from sores, to vomit, to evacuate his bowels – all of those fluids containing billions of Ebola virions, each one of which can infect and kill another human being it it reaches a portal, through their skin protection, to their system. The virus kills within two weeks of the symptoms manifesting.

THIS INFORMATION WAS ENOUGH OF A BASIS FOR A QUARANTINE. The virus can be transmitted to another person through a small leakage of blood up to three weeks before symptoms manifest; at this early time, it is even more dangerous than when the person is exhibiting full-blown hemorrhagic symptoms, because the person with the full disease is easily identified as a source of contagion and can be quickly put into isolation. But the carrier is not recognized as such; he may travel and infect another person who has no logical connection with West Africa or Ebola or whatever, other than that he happened to brush against some blood from an infected, but as yet asymptomatic, Ebola carrier.

Any competent epidemiologist or public health specialist (not an imposter with a degree) would know the kind of quarantine that kind of disease would require. In fact, once the facts of the disease and of the environment – airports, screenings with thermometers, free travel, free interaction with other people misinformed about how and when the disease spreads (told that it cannot be spread by people who do not look really sick, which is what Frieden's claims amount to) – are known, any intelligent person who gave the matter thought and study could plainly see that the measures the CDC was (is) taking were exactly the wrong measures.

Even the "restriction" of forcing all people who have been in West African Ebola regions to fly into one of five big hub airports (400 to 500 planes a day) has actually increased the chances of spread of the disease by the means I mentioned above: leaving blood on a door handle, toilet seat, or sink counter; or a host rubbing a small cut or bruise onto the skin of another person, or on some object that another person will touch, bringing the virus onto their finger, and from there to a portal to his bloodstream.

THAT WAS REASON ENOUGH TO SEAL OFF AMERICANS FROM CONTACT. That was enough for a national self-quarantine and restrictions everywhere to limit contact severely, keeping contact down to what is necessary to keep people fed and healthy during a national effort to detect all carriers during a 25-day operation; so that all who are carriers can manifest their symptoms and be contained, and the country can then proceed with certainty that there are no other carriers going undetected in their midst. The right CDC head, and the President, at the same time, should have notified other countries of what we are doing, and urged them to do the same. Then, when the US population is certified carrier-free by the 25-day quarantine of this type, they would be able to open free communication with other nations that have done the same; in that way, the Ebola virus would have been eliminated from the human population.

BUT THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT FRIEDEN AND THE GOVERNMENT WERE OPPOSED TO DOING. They hid the nature of the contagion problem and they refused to take the measures that Americans knew should be taken. And here are you, Scott Gottlieb, defending Frieden and pleading for his continuance as the man in charge of protecting us from the Ebola virus.

Scott Gottlieb, M.D.: The Bush Administration attempted to set out more parameters around how quarantine would be used in a public health emergency such as a bioterrorist act, by issuing a new regulation interpreting the decades-old legal authority. But in trying to spell out some general parameters, the Bush-era rule also exposed just how absolute and intrusive the underlying legal authority is. It spooked civil libertarians.

Richard Eastman, M.S., M.A.: And so Dr.

In the Fight Against Ebola, We May Have to Bet On a Drug

by Scott Gottlieb M.D.
September 29, 2014 (Forbes)

As the Ebola epidemic spirals on, it's becoming increasingly clear that our usual tools for combatting infectious outbreaks are failing.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now estimates that, absent a seriously stepped up effort to control the spread, we could see as many as 1.4 million cases by early next year. And that estimate excludes the cases in Guinea.

The scope of the epidemic, and the lack of health resources, has outstripped the ability to track down all those exposed to the infection and isolate them. These activities form the backbone of public health techniques, and they are falling short.

What if we're too late to this battle to get ahead of it? Even now, we may be too slow and tentative in funneling enough resources to keep pace with the continued spread. If the epidemic continues to swell, it may take a drug to change the trajectory.

Yet at every turn, our public health officials say that a vaccine or therapeutic isn't going to reverse this catastrophe. That we shouldn't bet on a medicine to change our fate. They say that only our public health response will resolve this crisis. One of the key voices in this debate is the World Health Organization. They may be wrong.

Partly their position owes to necessary posturing. Public health leaders need to reinforce the primacy of public health means in order to inspire the political will to marshal those resources.

Part of it stems from a view by public health officials that place a stubborn primacy on their work in lieu of alternative redemption.

But a bigger share of the attitude reflects a calculus by public health leaders, that any therapeutic is going to arrive too late to make a difference on the ground. As the epidemic grows, and talk of endemic infection starts to mount, we may have to bet on a therapeutic to firmly reverse, and eventually snuff out the continued spread of infection. We may, sadly, be in this fight a lot longer than many are now anticipating.

The good news is that there's nothing unfamiliar or unusual about Ebola to suggest it won't be a druggable target. Moreover, there are a number of promising molecules that show activity against the virus. We need a concerted effort to get these medicines into advanced testing and to make them available in the field.

We also need a clear approach to how these drugs are going to eventually be cleared for use – and who is in charge. In this case, the World Health Organization should not be relied upon to "approve" drugs that will be supported with U.S. funds, and supplied by U.S. firms. The WHO has an unsuccessful history in similar circumstances.

When left-leaning international NGOs were advocating that funds from the "President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief" (known as PEPFAR) be used to purchase cheap, counterfeit HIV medicines for Africa, the WHO created a process to sanction these medicines. The NGOs argued that the cheaper counterfeits could spread fixed dollars over more patients, allowing more infected people to be treated. But the groups also saw the precedent that would be set by using U.S. funds to buy counterfeit drugs as a strike against patent systems that they long derided.

These advocacy groups easily swayed the politically minded WHO. But it turned out that the counterfeit drugs were, in many cases, sub potent. They contained fake ingredients. In short, the drugs didn’t work. A bigger catastrophe was averted only because the U.S. (which had the bulk of the money) didn't go along with the scheme.

Right now, in the search for a therapeutic aimed at Ebola, world drug regulators are coming together under the auspices of the WHO. But the WHO is largely a policy making process. We need a functioning regulatory body to take on these tasks.

What Ebola drugs would be first up for testing, and perhaps see wider use in the field. Canadian drug maker Tekmira Pharmaceuticals TKMR -1.75% (TKMR) said last Monday that U.S. and Canadian regulators authorized the use of its Ebola treatment in patients who have confirmed or suspected infections from the deadly virus. The drug is being made available through an expanded access protocol, authorized by the U.S. FDA and Health Canada that allow drug developers to offer experimental therapies to patients with serious diseases who cannot participate in controlled clinical trials.

Among some of the other therapeutics that have cleared various amounts of preclinical testing, and could be put in the field, are a number of antiviral drugs.

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals BCRX -1.82% (BCRX) has an antiviral drug, BCX4430, which has demonstrated activity against a wide range of viruses, including Ebola, in in-vitro preclinical testing. The drug has shown a good safety record in animal testing.

Fuji Film Holdings (FUJIF) has a drug Avigan that shows a broad ability to block viral replication. This includes activity against Ebola in animal tests. The drug was approved by Japanese drug regulators in 2014 for treatment of influenza and is currently being stockpiled by Japan for use against pandemic flu.

Sarepta Therapeutics (SRPT) has a compound that targets the ability of a virus to make copies of its genetic material, a key step in viral replication. Sarepta's Ebola product, AVI-7537, works by directly binding to the viral RNA.

We could be in a long fight against Ebola. Or a bigger battle if the virus mutates in ways that makes it more contagious, and allows it to spread outside Africa.

As we start to funnel resources into West Africa, and try and snuff out Ebola's continued spread, we also need to think long term.

We didn't foresee how this epidemic would unfold, or marshal the resources to meet that challenge. Even now, we may be far more dependent on a therapeutic to save us, than we realize.

And then there is this one by Gottlieb, showing that even as Frieden was saying that no quarantine was necessary, that he was not expecting an outbreak, and that the Ebola virus in a person's system is not communicable before hemorrhagic fever appears – the success of Ebola in taking hold here was fully expected, along with a very harsh military quarantine where booted soldiers in hazmat suits take away people suspected of having had contact with someone infected. Here is Gottlieb:

Countering the Domestic Ebola Threat

By Scott Gottlieb MD and Tevi Troy

October 13, 2014 (Forbes)

Until recently, the bulk of the Obama administration's efforts in the fight against Ebola have been on the international front. The emergence of a second Ebola case in Dallas – a nurse caring for the first patient – raises important questions of how to prevent a domestic outbreak from turning into an epidemic.

Given the pace of spread in West Africa, a broader U.S. outbreak is almost inevitable. We will see clusters of infection in major Western cities, including the U.S. Our aim must be to keep these clusters small, and to limit secondary spread.

Ebola is controllable in the U.S., but only if political officials and our public health professionals do the right things. Unfortunately, it's clear that both local and federal officials fell short in Dallas.

Immigration officials failed to detect the risk this person posed as he arrived. The hospital didn't take proper care when he first presented to doctors.

Once he fell ill, it took an emergency, federal "waiver" to give local officials the permission to clean his contaminated, infectious waste. When the decision was made to quarantine his exposed family members, there was no place for federal officials to house them, and no clear rules for how they would be held.

Finally, even though the hospital followed Centers for Disease Control protocols, a nurse still contracted the disease, calling into question the hospital's training procedures and other steps taken to protect workers.

Health care professionals at all levels are of course not perfect and will make mistakes. Hospital protocols and public health preparedness plans must leave room for human error – especially when it comes to very hot pathogens like Ebola. But the CDC must do a better job of establishing clear and accurate procedures, take appropriate measures to reduce risk, and properly calibrate its public statements, if we're going to inspire the public confidence that will be needed to prevent disruptions in the likely event of a wider, future outbreak.

First, on flights coming in from West Africa – public health officials have noted that shutting down the air routes to the U.S. can make a bad situation worse. Mostly this issue pertains to the cargo traffic that would be cut off, leaving these nations isolated at a time that their economies are already reeling. As for the passenger traffic, there are two airlines (Royal Air Morocco and Brussels Airlines) that collectively run a total of five connecting flights a week out of Liberia and to the U.S.

President Obama, under political pressure, may soon decide to stop air travel from West Africa to the U.S. In the meantime, even though the U.S. is now belatedly announcing that it will start closer screening of air passengers originating from Ebola affected countries (including routine checks for fevers) there's more that the U.S. can do, short of outright travel bans, to reduce the odds of direct spread from air travelers.

One option is to place U.S. personnel in West African airports, rather than relying on local officials to conduct the front-end exit screening. Only about 150 people a day arrive from West Africa aboard these flights. It's a small enough number to subject all of the travelers to more vigorous outbound scrutiny.

People traveling through the West African airports report that the current exit screening are not consistently – or rigorously – applied. On the margins, more vigilant checks under the supervision of U.S. personnel might discourage exposed or sick people from trying to board planes at the outset. It would also give public health workers more information on the U.S. side of those flights to better target screening efforts. U.S. officials could then follow up recent arrivals in the U.S. with phone calls to check on their health.

Second, on the snafus that plagued the case in Dallas. Hospitals must adopt procedures for flagging patients who meet criteria that put them at risk for having Ebola. That starts with establishing patient travel history. In addition, all hospitals should implement practices like those in place at institutions such as Elmhurst Hospital in Queens or Brigham and Women's in Boston which have set up special units in Emergency Rooms to handle suspected cases. Furthermore, hospitals and clinics need to be on alert, and act accordingly. More senior medical personnel should evaluate anyone who meets certain criteria for risk of Ebola infection.

CDC might also consider establishing regional centers of excellence to handle the treatment of Ebola infected patients. This would make it easier to implement the kind of intense training and procedures needed to manage these difficult cases.

Third, on the proper handling of confirmed cases, updated quarantine regulations were first proposed in 2005 during the Bush Administration amid fears of pandemic flu. The regulations spelled out in detail how CDC would exercise its broad powers to involuntarily confine sick individuals and those believed to be exposed to certain deadly pathogens. The set of regulations also included a new and controversial "provisional quarantine" rule. It would have allowed CDC to detain suspected cases involuntarily for up to three days.

Yet in laying out these proposed quarantine procedures, the CDC rule proved controversial precisely because it exposed the agency's sweeping powers. So President Obama withdrew the rule in 2010. CDC still retains such powers, only now there are no modern regulations to guide how they'd be implemented.

It's too late to issue regulations for the current crisis. But CDC can and should promulgate guidance that would clarify key gaps, including those that emerged in Dallas (such as where to house quarantine subjects, how they would be held, and what criteria would be used to obligate a person to involuntary quarantine – or allow them to exit from the restrictions).

Finally, continued reassurances in the wake of what has happened in Texas risk making further government statements on the issue lose credibility. CDC must maintain its ability to communicate public health messages to the American people, and to be listened to as a voice of authority. CDC needs to make sure that bland reassurances will not be contradicted by fast-breaking events.

The most profound Ebola risk in the U.S. isn't going to be from isolated cases. It will be a few months from now, if the epidemic continues to spread in West Africa, and larger clusters emerge in major U.S. cities. This could have disastrous effects, on both our health and our economic systems.

We can protect the U.S. from these disasters, but will need to see improved performances, at all levels of our public health system, in order to do so.

Finally, this – which corroborates the thesis that Medical Disaster Capitalism and a grab for the power to purge the population of their enemies has prompted international organized crime to create and deploy the Ebola filovirus bioweapon:

Thomas Frieden and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a director of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH)

NIH: 'Vaccinate the Whole Country' with Experimental Ebola Vaccine

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health, wants to vaccinate the whole country with an experimental Ebola vaccine in light of recently Ebola cases in the U.S. He recently told The Canadian Press in an interview:

"As the epidemic gets more and more formidable and in some cases out of control it is quite conceivable, if not likely, that we may need to deploy the vaccine to the entire country to be able to shut the epidemic down. That is clearly a possibility."

How convenient for the corrupt GlaxoSmithKline who is working as fast as they can to create an experimental, fast-tracked Ebola vaccine. The company was just slapped with a record $489 million fine in China last month, after allegations surfaced in the United Arab Emirates of 'improper payments' and bribery in several Middle Eastern countries.

They have also been found guilty of reportedly dumping 45 liters of polio virus in a Belgium river, and they are the subject of numerous lawsuits, brought about by whistleblowers, for 'bad medicine.' Cheryl Eckard, for example, a former employee for the pharmaceutical giant, has exposed GlaxoSmithKline's fraudulent practices of delivering contaminated drugs – some even full of harmful bacteria – to the public.

Yet this is the company that the U.S. government wants us to trust for an Ebola vaccine? Furthermore, Jon Rappoport has revealed that the standard test for diagnosing Ebola (PCR) is 'completely misleading and useless.'

He continues: "… when the authorities report there are 6000 cases of Ebola and 3000 deaths, or when they report that two patients in the U.S. have Ebola, they’re relying on a diagnostic test that can't confirm any of these assertions is true. This is verified in spades by a Dept. of Defense manual."

The manual he refers to is "Ebola Zaire (EZ1) rRT-PCR (TaqMan®) Assay on ABI 7500 Fast Dx, LightCycler, & JBAIDS: INSTRUCTION BOOKLET," published by "Joint Project Manager Medical Countermeasures Systems," dated 14 August 2014.

He quotes from the manual: "… the EZ1 assay [the PCR test] should not be performed unless the individual has been exposed to or is at risk for exposure to Ebola Zaire virus or has signs and symptoms of infection with Ebola Zaire virus (detected in the West Africa outbreak in 2014) that meet clinical and epidemiologic criteria for testing suspect specimens."

There are numerous "Ebola" strains, however, and the Zaire test wouldn't come up positive, anyhow, if someone had a different virus.

Regardless of this inconclusive test for Ebola, Tom Frieden, the head of the CDC, gave a press conference last week concerning "the Dallas Ebola patient," in which he assured all of us that the patient had Ebola because the "very accurate" PCR test had been run. Meanwhile, Fauci is dropping nationalized vaccination comments like it's no big deal: sure, he meant it for Africa – but is the plan to force vaccinations of an untested, live-virus vaccine on the entire U.S. population next?

Interestingly, the people of West Africa have a strong disbelief in the reality of this Ebola crisis. They think that these Ebola outbreaks were caused by the United States Department of Defense, which was in the Ebola hot zones of West Africa performing biowarfare research on Ebola and other viruses. They think that Ebola is so fake, in fact, that the people are now literally drenched in an "Ebola Is Real" campaign, where they can't even take a phone call without being told that Ebola is real.

Will a vaccine soon come to us in the United States for a fake pandemic? Either way, will we all be forced to take it? Let us know what you think of this controversial issue.

Barack Obama, Dr. Margaret Chan and Dr. Thomas R. Frieden are all guilty of bioterrorism, crimes against humanity, genocide, and conspiracy to commit mass murder. Their crimes are more heinous than all the combined crimes of every terrorist attack that has ever occurred, both in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world. Their crimes are greater than those that occurred on September 11, 2001 because their crimes will murder millions, whereas 9/11 killed about 3000 people. Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, and Barack Obama all came to power at a time of extreme instability in their countries. All took advantage of the chaos going on in their countries, to seize power and garner political support for their totalitarian causes.

Obama, Dr. Margaret Chan, and Dr. Thomas R. Frieden's crimes are crimes against humanity because they are targeting and killing millions of civilians. Crimes against humanity, as defined by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court Explanatory Memorandum, "are particularly odious offences in that they constitute a serious attack on human dignity or grave humiliation or a degradation of one or more human beings". The London Charter of the International Military Tribunal (Nuremberg Charter) defined crimes against humanity as "murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation, and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian populations, before or during the war; or persecutions on political, racial or religious grounds in execution of or in connection with any crime within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal, whether or not in violation of the domestic law of the country where perpetrated".

Obama, Dr. Margaret Chan, and Dr. Thomas R. Frieden's crimes are a deliberate and intentional killing of large numbers of civilians for political or other purposes. That is not tolerable under international law – and it should be prosecuted pursuant to the existing laws. We're not rewriting any rules. We don't have to rewrite any rules. We have to apply the existing rules. We have to make them accountable for their crimes: that is why every law enforcement agency in the world must seek them out (Wanted!) for bioterrorism, crimes against humanity, genocide, and conspiracy to commit mass murder. #2162: Marine Links Serco's FAA Red-Switch Paradigm to Cake Boy's Exploding Virgin, Down Low Snuff-Film Club

Abel Danger - Mon, 11/03/2014 - 10:51
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Serco operations of FAA Contract Towers and the Defense Red Switch Network through the Paradigm (now Airbus) private finance initiative at RAF Oakhanger to the Virgin Atlantic SpaceShipTwo explosion – allegedly triggered by Serco agents acting for the cake-boy president of the United States Barack Obama and Obama's snuff-film associates at the Down Low Club.

"To this day, people in Chicago are still scared about being murdered for talking about Barack Obama being gay or about what goes on at Trinity United with the still-active "Down Low Club". Young, gay, black men are mentored into the club and are eventually paired up with often unattractive and difficult to deal with straight black women who never have boyfriends (since guys don't want to have anything to do with them). A friend of mine in the "Think Squad" of prominent black professionals I talk to regularly calls these women "heifers" and says it's very common for "cake boys" to be paired up with "heifers" so that "dummies are fooled" into thinking they are straight."

McConnell believes that over the last 20 years, Serco has integrated operations of the FAA Contract Towers, Defense Red Switch Network and Paradigm mil-sat communications systems so that Serco air traffic controllers can impute ad hoc waypoints into remotely hijacked aircraft; trigger crash/mid-air explosions and pre-position ground crews to remove evidence of Down Low Club snuff-film murders – cf. Lorretta Fuddy FAA Contract Towers, Molokaai 11/12/13.

McConnell invites Virgin Galactic CEO Sir Richard Branson to contact him for a briefing on the world's largest air traffic controller Serco and its alleged use of FAA/Red Switch and Paradigm networks to crash passenger aircraft for Down Low Club snuff-film and death-by-plane events.

McConnell also invites Sir Richard to conduct a private investigation of 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling and his tradecraft skills needed for a Virgin explosion and wag the dog script, especially Coulling's experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

Virgin Galactic's Flight Path to Disaster: A Clash of High Risk and Hyperbole
Sir Richard Branson's a consummate salesman, but his rhetoric and hopes got ahead of his company's engineers.
It was always recklessly optimistic of Sir Richard Branson to imagine that he could go straight from experimental test flights of his Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two to carrying passengers in a matter of months.
That's not the way that things work when you're pushing at the edge of the unknown, as this program was.
And yet there was Sir Richard, only a few weeks ago, suggesting that once the ship had fired up its rocket motor with a new kind of fuel he would be riding the first passenger-carrying flight early next year.
He's never seemed either to understand or admit how many technical challenges had to be faced before space tourism could be an everyday event, as safe and simple as flying an airline.
Every milestone in aviation and aerospace has been reached only after exhaustive and often dangerous testing.
The closest parallel to the Galactic challenge is the example of Chuck Yaeger being the first man to successfully fly at supersonic speed in 1947.
It was called, rather dramatically, breaking the sound barrier. In fact, there was no barrier but there was much to be discovered about changes to the controllability of an airplane as it surged beyond the speed of sound.
Yaeger's Bell X-1 rocket ship was a one-off experimental machine. It would be years before air force pilots could safely fly the supersonic fighters that evolved from these test flights into a very different form.
Yet Virgin Galactic posited the notion that an experimental test vehicle and the final form of a "spaceship for tourists" could be identical.
Both a rocket engine with a temperamental record and an airframe of revolutionary design and construction had to be proved safe. And not just safe for test pilots, but safe enough for the long line of celebrities who had signed up to ride the rocket.
All the Virgin Galactic test flying was done under a special experimental permit issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. To reach the point where SpaceShip Two could be cleared for carrying passengers Galactic needed to move from the experimental permit to being awarded an operator's license.
That required a new 180-day review by the FAA to establish that all the systems were thoroughly tested and fail-safe. But remember, this was uncharted territory for the FAA just as it was for Galactic. Indeed, by submitting to the FAA review Galactic was being asked to set the standards for all who followed... if they could.
It was a very tall order. Branson wanted a vehicle that could carry six passengers, two pilots and reach a speed of 2,500mph and a height of around 65 miles, ten times the height at which an airliner cruises.
By any measure, this accident will have set back the development program by years. Will backers want to pour ever more money into this black hole?
When the FAA certifies a new airliner as safe it is normal for the airplane builder, like Boeing or Airbus, to put as many a six airplanes into the test program, all flying at the same time, to test every aspect of the design and its safety—and this for a technology that is in most parts wholly mature. Even then it can take several years to receive certification. The principle is clear: the design must have multiple redundancies so that no single failure can jeopardize the airplane.
But here Virgin was fielding only one test vehicle that embodied a whole set of completely untried systems. Everything was being staked on the two test pilots being able to anticipate potential failures and the ground engineers likewise poring over the test results to detect weak points before they had catastrophic results. Despite this, Virgin asked the FAA to begin their review for the operator's license in August 2013, and that was when the 180-day clock started ticking.
However, as that period neared its end it was obvious that SpaceShip Two was nowhere near completing its test flights and passing every safety milestone that it needed to. So Virgin voluntarily asked the FAA to stop the clock.
The program was facing its most daunting test, firing up the rocket engine to full power and for long enough to reach that apogee of 65 miles high.
Early this year a test flight proved that the fuel being used for the rocket would never meet that goal. The power delivered by the rocket motor was uneven and tricky to control. On the first powered test flights the pilots had prematurely to shut down the engine.
Then a critical change was ordered—a fuel using a new formula that was thought to be more stable and deliver more power. This fuel was repeatedly tested on the ground. But no ground test can replicate the conditions of a flight—key factors like temperature, air pressure and far lower gravitational pull affect the way the fuel behaves.
On Friday morning the pilots prepared for the first flight with the new fuel. There was, I am told, a two-hour delay caused by concerns about the temperature of the fuel. Nonetheless, the test pilots, both known to be scrupulous in their preparations, felt confident enough to go. So SpaceShip Two was lifted aloft by the mother ship, WhiteKnight Two, and separated at 40,000 feet to "light the candle" as rocket ignition is called. Disaster followed.
There are many consequences to this failure. Not the least is what it implies for the financing of the project. After years of delays the costs have gone beyond a billion dollars. More than a third of that money has come from Abar, an investment fund based in Abu Dhabi. (This was made available in return for an undertaking by Virgin to build a space tourism base in the Gulf.) By any measure, this accident will have set back the development program by years. Will backers want to pour ever more money into this black hole?
Then there is the case of Spaceport America in New Mexico, near the small city of Truth & Consequences. This cost local taxpayers $212 million to build in the hope that they would become the center of the new industry of space tourism.
It's not exactly clear how many people have signed up to ride SpaceShip One – Galactic has claimed that as many as 800 people have paid deposits on the $250,000 fare but the numbers are squishy. For these people the disaster over the Mojave Desert is a sobering wake-up call. What to many must have seemed the prospect of a spectacular joy ride is now better appreciated as a thrill from the very edge of what is safely attainable.
From the beginning in 2004 there has always been a credibility gap between the fairground hyperbole of Branson's formidable publicity machine and the scientific reality of the enterprise. Somehow, probably because he is such a consummate showman, Branson has been able, year after year, to override the story of continual delays, flagrant over-promises and a voracious, seemingly open-ended budget. This time it's different. A National Transportation Safety Board investigation will deliver a forensic rigor that has been so far lacking. It will strip away the vocabulary of the promoter. And it will reveal the world as lived daily by the engineers and test pilots who knew how much was left to be understood among the hazards of the dream."
"Branson spaceship explosion: The 'missed' warnings
Sir Richard Branson's company and US authorities were repeatedly warned about safety issues surrounding Virgin Galactic's rocket engine system
By Robert Mendick, Edward Malnick and Rob Crilly in New York9:29PM GMT 01 Nov 2014
Virgin Galactic crash: Federal investigators examine scene 01 Nov 2014
The incident, in which one pilot died and another was seriously injured, puts in jeopardy Sir Richard's dream of space travel for passengers, each paying $250,000 (£156,000).
The dead pilot was named as Michael Alsbury, an experienced American test pilot.
His widow, Michelle Saling, said: "I have lost the love of my life. I am living in hell right now."
His co-pilot Peter Siebold, 43, was undergoing surgery on Saturday night after sustaining serious injuries.
Scaled Composties, the US aerospace company which employed the pilots, said Mr Siebold has been "alert" and talking with his family and doctors.
Tom Bower, an investigative journalist and Sir Richard's biographer, described the crash as "predictable and inevitable".
"All the engineers in California working on the project I've spoken to said it was very dangerous."US investigators on Saturday began examining the wreckage to determine what went wrong.
Sir Richard later insisted the programme could be "back on track" within four to six months "if it is a clear-cut cause and one that can be fixed"."
"New military hotline [operated by Serco] directly links top brass to U.S.

Public Officials Refuse to Enforce Clean Water Act - Clean Water Technology Is Being Suppressed - Waste Water Industry at US$500 Billion Compromised - 40 Percent of Government Revenue Originates With Sewer and Water Charges - The Sewage Racket

Abel Danger - Sun, 11/02/2014 - 14:06

Clean Water Act (CWA) [Public Law 92–500]

More formally referred to as the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, the Clean Water Act constitutes the basic federal water pollution control statute for the United States. Originally based on the Water Quality Act of 1965, which began setting water quality standards. The 1966 amendments to this act increased federal government funding for sewage treatment plants. Additional 1972 amendments established a goal of zero toxic discharges and “fishable” and “swimmable” surface waters. Enforceable provisions of the CWA include technology-based effluent standards for point sources of pollution, a state-run control program for nonpoint pollution sources, a construction grants program to build or upgrade municipal sewage treatment plants, a regulatory system for spills of oil and other hazardous wastes, and a Wetlands preservation program (Section 404).

Two spaceship crashes in 3 days?

I do not buy it: it is willful sabotage

The first one, an Antares rocket which was sent to resupply the space station, was willfully destroyed after a "telemetry error" was detected. Six seconds into launch. SIX SECONDS? WHY SIX? Anyone who hits this web site ought to know the significance of that number: it is basically a code for lying/clandestine action.

The Antares rocket was willfully destroyed even though, despite the "telemetry" error (which does not mean "flight system error" – it only means a communications glitch), the rocket was doing a perfectly normal takeoff and had not done anything visibly anomalous AT ALL.

I am going to call it: someone is sabotaging the private American space program, and it is a group of people who practically worship the number SIX, including with a star. If you think they want what is best for America, just watch the Ebola psyop continue, and think again.

The latest? A short while ago (minutes ago), Virgin lost their space plane due to a "serious anomaly". I beg the question, what was it? a Stuxnet anomaly? Come on now, it was only a FREAKING AIRPLANE WITH A ROCKET MOTOR – HOW DO YOU CRASH AN AIRPLANE IN THIS DAY AND AGE?

1. STUPIDITY – rule that out.

2. SHOOT IT DOWN, BLOW IT UP, OR SABOTAGE IT. THAT is what we are looking at, folks. I was doubting the Antares explosion was legit, but Virgin's space plane sealed the deal: these programs are being sabotaged, and that is all there is to it.

Go to YouTube and watch the Antares rocket explosion. While watching what happens, realize that there was NO MALFUNCTION THAT CAUSED THE EXPLOSION: it was someone pushing an auto-destruct button to blow the engines out. Perfectly normal take off, and POOF.

Then ask yourself who would want such a spectacular failure at the expense of America's image. There will be your answer as to who had that rocket destroyed, and a tip towards any murder investigations that should be launched to expose what truthfully happened in today's Virgin Galactic crash.

To be PERFECTLY CLEAR: The rocket had absolutely NO hardware failures: six seconds into launch, it was simply stated to have developed a "telemetry failure". Scammers in the media are saying ground control hit self-destruct after the failure and before it hit the ground, but in reality, the initial explosion WAS THE AUTO-DESTRUCT, and the lies surrounding this prove something is being covered up.

DISCLAIMER: What is America doing using Cold War era Soviet surplus JUNK for NASA missions, anyway? See anything flaky with that? I SURE DO. Blow up Afghanistan. Murder much of Iraq. Run Gitmo years after claimed shut down. Stock DHS with a billion rounds of ammo. Give APCs to all police departments. Screwball Libya. Stage a few beheadings… and at the end of all of that, when the money is gone, STICK NASA WITH OLD SOVIET CRAP. See anything wrong with that? That's OK, because it is OBVIOUS they are going to try to kill off the rest of the "American dream" with an "Ebola" outbreak, real or not – who will care about NASA then?

Setting the stage for forced Ebola quarantines

Peter wrote:

The media story about Kaci Hickox disobeying quarantine and travel restrictions is designed to make the public start debating... civil rights vs. "public safety." The wording, and the story, is written to lean towards fear – that she is jeopardizing us. And if that public mindset sets in, it's a short step to a mass policy that can detain anyone. The governor is taking this case to the courts now, and arguing constitutionality. Precedent will be set.

To do mass public detaining, they need to make the criteria to detain as slim as possible, and the risk of exposure as great as possible. First, she had no symptoms and twice tested negative. So anyone within X distance of ebola places is a public risk. As far as how it can be spread.... Now CDC says dogs may be able to transmit, while themselves showing no symptoms because they have natural antibodies. This means anyone connected to a dog who has been around other dogs who have been near ebola patients, will now put people at risk. I'm not saying this is exactly what they will do, but it exemplifies the ease they can take this case, make connections that link anyone to ebola, and recommend quarantine at risk of jail time. The LA Times just reported California will enforce this policy, as a misdemeanor criminal offense if disobeyed.

My comment:

It could not possibly be any more obvious that the people running America want either a real pandemic or plausible grounds for fronting a fake one. And despite being totally busted three times – even with Nana Kwame's expose, Eric Duncan's proven service as regional director of the Peace Corps for Liberia, and the girl saying right to the cameras that Doctor Spencer is NOT the guy, they are pushing for the Ebola scam in New York: they are not giving up on this. They are going full steam ahead, truth and exposure be damned.

This means there is an agenda with this one that they will not back off on, no matter how badly the scam and agenda is exposed. In the past, they would back off. Why is this one different? And why are they still allowing flights to and from the "Ebola zones"? Why are they now saying Ebola spreads like the flu, and thrives in the cold? What about the dog story? All of it is PATENT B.S. – WHY are they not backing off?

ANSWER: They are religious zealots with a deadline to meet. Their recent actions proves something is amiss with them, and they are going for broke. Whatever the deadline is, it is now OBVIOUS that they HAVE TO get everyone "vaccinated" with a shot of dubious origins within a very short time window. The sheer brazen nature of it all proves that this is a do or die situation for them, and it totally discredits the entire "Ebola" meme. It makes it all obvious THEY WANT THIS, IT IS THEIR BABY, and PROOF is in the fact THERE ARE NO HOLDS ON FLIGHTS FROM THE EBOLA ZONE.

It is the job of the government to act in the best interests of the nation it "serves". When dealing with the safety of its citizens, America is NOT SUPPOSED TO CARE ABOUT POLITICS IN AFRICA. The fact that flights are continuing unabated means one of two things – either: 1. Ebola is not real at all, and they need a ruse, OR 2. They really want this pandemic to spread as far and as fast as conceivably possible. Either way, they are playing the role of an enemy: AVOID THE SHOT AT ALL COST.

My response:

Suspicion warranted. They have the blood moon tetrad as a timeline, as far as they see it. People erroneously believe that the blood moon tetrad is doom for Israel. Historically, however, it has not always been the case.

The blood moon tetrads have been one of two things: either a time of great triumph, or a time of disaster for Israel – and nothing else. It is not a static time for them. SO, they probably intend to try to force the issue this time and make it a tetrad of triumph. That is why we have the Ebola scare (real or not) in full swing, lame PR attempts like ISIS, the huge assault on Gaza... this could backfire on Israel to an epic degree. So if they wanted to destroy Al-Aqsa, now is the time, as far as they see it. Do not see the re-opening of Al-Aqsa as any sort of victory: explosives could easily be planted that will be set off at a possibly MUCH later date.

#2161: Marine Links Red-Switch Serco's Cake-Boy Swapping to Sodomized Spy In Fort Meade Bag

Abel Danger - Sat, 11/01/2014 - 18:55
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Serco's alleged swapping of cake-boy snuff-film images and privileges through the Defense Red Switch Network to the sodomites who allegedly murdered U.K. spy Gareth Williams and transported his body in a North Face sports bag from Fort Meade to an MI-6 apartment in Pimlico where the spy's body was apparently sprinkled with sodium perborate powder to accelerate decomposition and destroy evidence of a torture (snuff-film) murder.

McConnell believes that Serco operatives have reconfigured the Defense Red Switch Network so that black or white cake-boy leaders of the Five Eyes countries can swap privileges and snuff-film images associated with the Down Low Club's License to Kill and that these same operatives had Williams killed after he was found to have hacked into unlawful Red Switch Network transactions at Fort Meade.

McConnell suggests that Canadians check out 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling who appears to have the tradecraft skills needed for scripted hits and place-based mass casualty events, especially his experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for the UK MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

"A secret stalker. Witnesses who won't talk... but the most tantalising question of all is... Who's got the spy-in-the-bag's missing laptop? By SUE REID FOR THE MAIL ON SUNDAY
UPDATED: 02:04 GMT, 4 September 2010

Number 36 Alderney Street stands in a terrace of tall white houses with gleaming door knockers at the heart of a London enclave the posh estate agents call 'alpha territory'.
The Queen's cousin lives down the road of million-pound homes and for 30 years Mimmo d'Ischia, a nearby Italian eaterie, has been a favourite of the Duchess of Cornwall and film stars Joan Collins and Anthony Hopkins.
Even this week, after the strange murder at Number 36 of young British spy Gareth Williams, there is little to show much has changed.
Nothing, that is, apart from the frantic comings and goings by men in suits from the British secret service, MI6, and detectives from Scotland Yard.
The house is where the decomposing body of Mr Williams, padlocked into a sports holdall and thrown into the bath of his top-floor flat, was discovered by police at 6.30 on the evening of Monday, August 23.
The maths genius, loner and cycling fanatic had not turned up for work as a cipher and codes expert at the headquarters of MI6, half a mile from Alderney Street, on the banks of the Thames at Vauxhall.
Today, the mystery over his death is deepening. Was he killed because of his professional life or his private one? Was it an impromptu killing or one that was planned?
Did he die in the top-floor flat after letting in his own killer? Or was he murdered elsewhere by someone who stole his flat keys, before carrying him back and dumping him?
Is it possible that despite his reputation for clean living, an aspect of his private life has led the young spy into danger? Scotland Yard has not ruled out that a woman, or indeed a man, may have been at his flat in the hours before his death. Was she or he invited there to play a sex game that went wrong?
It is, of course, just another question that needs to be answered about the spy who was 'on loan' to MI6 from UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), the country's top-secret listening post in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
When Mr Williams's gruesome death first became public knowledge, there were lurid and unproven rumours about his private affairs.
Speculation that 'bondage equipment and gay paraphernalia' had been found at the flat was later dismissed as 'garbage' by Scotland Yard.
His parents, Ian and Ellen, who live in a bungalow in Holyhead, Anglesey, were horrified at the unsavoury claims about their bachelor son's supposedly wild homosexual lifestyle.
The family insist he lived an exemplary existence and was not gay. A friend of Mr Williams said that the spy was 'asexual', and showed little interest in having a relationship with a man or a woman.
A first post-mortem failed to find the cause of his death. A second examination of his body took place a few days ago to unravel if he was drugged, poisoned or smothered. The results of this are still being analysed.
Yet, in a worrying twist, the Mail understands that a turf war has broken out between the police and MI6, with some police officers complaining that the spooks are hindering their investigation into the spy's death.
The Mail has learned from sources close to the investigation that Mr Williams informed MI6 that he believed he was being followed in the months before his death, though murder squad detectives say they have not been told this.
This suggests that every aspect of his life at work and at home should be put under the microscope. However, there is frustration at Scotland Yard that the 'security concerns' of MI6 are stopping this wide-sweep inquiry happening.
Police attempts to quiz two spies still working at GCHQ who knew Mr Williams well have been unsuccessful and some detectives suspect they have been 'blocked' by both MI6 and GCHQ. It is also understood the murder squad was unable to get to one of his closest friends, a former GCHQ spy.
The man lived at the Alderney Street safe house in 2005 and visited there earlier this year. 'He knows the day-to-day movements of Mr Williams and that is why he is important,' added our source.
Scotland Yard murder detectives were this week also waiting to quiz another former GCHQ employee, who suddenly moved to America from Cheltenham six weeks ago and is said to be a 'best friend' of the dead codebreaker.
There is also friction between MI6 and GCHQ over the level of protection given to Mr Williams while on his London secondment. 'Some people feel that he was sent to MI6 on secondment as a goodwill gesture and the intelligence service then "lost" GCHQ's man,' said a source.
It is a troubling backdrop to any major murder investigation, especially one into an expert codebreaker who was playing a significant role in protecting Britain.
Meanwhile, the Mail has learned of intriguing riddles about his death. The spy's brain showed no signs of bruising, indicating he was not knocked unconscious before he died.
This has led to speculation that he may have been killed with a tiny injection of poison, possibly through his inner ear. If so, the needle mark would be almost invisible to the naked eye.
Another riddle is that Mr Williams's personal computer is thought to be missing. He had designed the small machine to his own specifications and it 'cannot be found', the Mail has been told.
The laptop, which Scotland Yard refuses to officially confirm is missing, is crucial to the investigation. It could be a vital window on Mr Williams's private life, his innermost thoughts, any transfers to and from his online bank account and would reveal if he had money problems.
Importantly, it will help trace his movements between the time he was last seen alive, on August 15, and the discovery of his body eight days later in his flat, where there was no sign of a break-in.
This will help pinpoint the time of his death, which is essential to finding a killer. Mr Williams's bank and credit cards were used during these crucial eight days.
Troublingly, because it is not known when he died, it has been impossible to discover if they were used by him, or someone who had stolen them from him and was involved in his murder.
In a further conundrum, one of the first police officers who entered the flat after Mr Williams was discovered dead saw some white powder on several surfaces in the kitchen and living room. Although this could prove innocent, the powder is being tested in case it is cocaine or another drug.
In particular, some Scotland Yard detectives believe a public appeal for sightings of Mr Williams in the missing days before his death is essential to solve the murder mystery.
It would involve the release of more photographs and details about his lifestyle, but it is understood to have been ruled out by MI6, which is worried that terrorists might use the information to identify other British spies and their own secrets.
It all sounds disturbingly similar to the case of 28-year-old journalist Jonathan Moyle, another British intelligence agent, whose body was found hanging inside a hotel wardrobe in the Chilean capital Santiago in 1990 with a padded noose around his neck.
He had been investigating a company — ostensibly for his British defence magazine — which was modifying helicopters, possibly to carry nuclear weapons, to sell to the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein."
"Profile: Gareth Williams, the MI6 spy who led a secret double life

Gareth Williams, the MI6 spy who was found dead in a bag in his bath, was a child prodigy.
By Victoria Ward and Matthew Holehouse | April 23, 2012

He took a maths GCSE at primary school and A-levels at 13, graduating with a first from Bangor University by the age of 17.

He went on to study advanced mathematics at Cambridge, eventually leaving because he felt he had learned all he could.

Williams grew up in Anglesey, north Wales. He was a quiet child from a tight-knit family, whose great passion was cycling.

Friends said that despite his extraordinary mathematical mind, he was "very naive about people". He was a loner, with few social contacts, even among his work colleagues. He struggled to make friends after being catapulted into the company of older people at an early age.

Dylan Parry, 34, from Anglesey, said he was an isolated child. "He never really made friends, either his own age or from those younger than him," he said.

"He didn't have any of the normal childhood interests or pursuits of teenagers. His only real interest was maths. He was obsessed with his subject. Socially he was very awkward but very nice."

By the time he left Cambridge, Williams' potential had already been spotted by GCHQ scouts.

In 2001, he took at job as a code expert at the GCHQ "doughnut" building in Cheltenham, working alongside hundreds of mathematicians, cryptologists and analysts going on to develop techniques to speed up data encryption.

For the first time, it is likely Williams felt challenged and comfortable in his surroundings, working with like-minded people in a top-secret environment that suited his personality.

His sparse bedsit was immaculate and devoid of personal belongings and clutter. His former landlady, Jenny Elliot, 71, said that "his life was his work".

In 2003, Williams spent six months at Menwith Hill, the RAF station in Yorkshire and in 2006 he spent time at Fort Meade in Maryland, home of the United States' National Security Agency, GCHQ's partner in global surveillance.

He is also reported to have made a number of visits to Afghanistan.

Last year, he was seconded to the London headquarters of MI6, a sign of his steady progress up the hierarchy at GCHQ.

The 31-year-old was assigned to live at 36 Alderney Street, in Pimlico, central London, an MI6 safe house.

Williams died before he could take up his next post in the Cyber Security Operations Centre at GCHQ.

Three months after his death, police revealed he had been pursuing a double life. Unknown to his family he had been visiting bondage websites and drag clubs and owned a £15,000 collection of women's designer clothing.

He had also attended two six to eight week courses in fashion design for beginners at Central St Martin's College in London during evenings and weekends.

He is also known to have visited Barcode, a gay bar in Vauxhall. However police have been unable to visit any sexual partners of Mr Williams, either male or female.

His family said before the police announcement that they were "very, very angry" at "completely false" rumours about the nature of Mr Williams' private life."

"New military hotline [operated by Serco] directly links top brass to U.S.

On November 4, Vote Out Incumbents as a Warning to All Future Congresses

Abel Danger - Sat, 11/01/2014 - 05:58
Fire Congress, Vote Out Incumbents

Fire this Congress as the people's warning to all future Congresses

By Joel S. Hirschhorn

For politicians to do what is right, first citizens must do what is right.

Of all the many, many stupid things that most Americans do, nothing is more insane than the ritual every two years of reelecting incumbent members of Congress. Countless opinion polls find that the public has incredibly low levels of positive regard for Congress. Just one in 10 Americans approves of the job Congress is doing, according to a Gallup poll released a few weeks ago, tying the branch’s lowest approval rating in 38 years.

Yet this year as in past years, unless Americans take back control of their country, voters will again reelect nearly all incumbents. Often, some incumbents do not even have any significant opposition. For example, in the 2000 election cycle, out of 435 House seats, 64 members had no major-party opponent, and in 2008 every House race in Arkansas was uncontested by a major party according to the Center for Voting and Democracy. Political redesign of congressional districts, gerrymandering, is widely done to ensure reelection of incumbents or one party.

The main way that incumbents get removed from office these days is when they lose in a party primary election, or die, or get themselves into a sex or corruption scandal. Primaries often replace the incumbent with someone else from the same party who will, in time, become an incumbent. That replacement is often a more extreme partisan than the previous incumbent.

The usual rationale for this survival of incumbents given by political analysts and writers is that although the public correctly sees Congress as a whole as incompetent, dysfunctional, and incapable of serving critical public interests, they somehow think that their own Representatives and Senators are worth reelecting. This, of course, makes no sense. If this had validity, then cumulatively and nationally it would make sense to keep incumbents in office, and Congress would get better and better with each election. In fact, Congress has become worse and worse with each election. This holds true in a genuine bipartisan sense, as nearly all incumbents, regardless of party, do not deserve to be reelected.

If Congress as a whole stinks, which it clearly does, then it is only logical to believe that this bleak condition must result from nearly all incumbents contributing to the mess. The exceptions are not defined by simply being the ones on your ballot.

How can a democracy function and have any deserved credibility when the electorate stubbornly refuses to act honestly and appropriately to get rid of the elected representatives who have proven themselves incapable of governing with competence and honor?

There must be better explanations.

Here is a likely one. Most Americans have become beholden to one of the two major political parties, even if they are not officially members of them, and may even consider themselves as uncommitted or independent. Moreover, a majority of people find themselves living in places where their favored party has predominated. When election time rolls around, they cannot get themselves to vote for the candidate from the “other” party and they refuse to vote for third-party candidates. Or they are so fed up with an awful government and political system that they do not vote at all, or not for congressional races.

Another contributing factor might be related to the lesser evil mode of thinking. The incumbent loser that you know is, somehow, thought to be better than the competing candidate you do not know, especially one from the “other” party. Reelecting incumbents is like some form of hallucinatory fantasy deemed the safer choice, as if keeping them in office will magically turn out to be different and better than in previous times. They have seen the light, gotten the message, turned the corner, become what they once promised to be, and so on. Nuts. Congressional experience is not to be rewarded; it must be penalized for rotten performance.

Third, incumbents almost always have the most money because they have already been corrupted by money. More money means more advertising and more lies. Lies work. Especially for the many information-poor voters that are easily swayed by campaign propaganda. The big popular lie of omission these days is staying completely away from their congressional record. No incumbent wants to be seen as an experienced Washington insider. If you failed on the job, why would you?

In our country, effective representative government is crucial. To keep reelecting congressional incumbents that nearly always deserve to be fired is unpatriotic, subversive, and antithetical to the ideals of our constitutional republic.

This year, ten Senators and 42 Representatives are not running for reelection. Odds are that far fewer incumbents will be voted out of office, if historic trends continue. For House elections from 1982 to 2008, only one in three voters did not vote for a winning House representative, and 73 percent of House races were won by landslide margins of at least 20 percentage points. The power of incumbency reduces much-needed political competition which a healthy democracy requires.

If the royalty of incumbency does not stop, there is no hope whatsoever of putting the nation on a much better track. It does not matter who is elected president. In the end, if the fractured Congress we have witnessed for years perseveres, the US is doomed to join the list of once-great global powers that went down the toilet.

Flush congressional incumbents out. Now. Or be complicit in the death of American democracy. Stop making excuses, rationalizing. Throw incumbent turds out of office. Even more important than not voting for the challenger or incumbent from the “other” party is not voting for the incumbent of your party, even if it threatens party control of the House or Senate.

If you do not help fire Congress, then you deserve to suffer personally from what the federal government does or does not do. Make you voice really heard this year.

On Tuesday, November 4, Vote The Incumbents Out!
_______

Vote out the entire Congress? You bet.

The Washington Post

Need more evidence of just how unhappy the American public is with Congress?

Look no further than today’s NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, where 54 percent of those tested said that if they had the opportunity to vote out every single Member of Congress — including their own — they would take it.

That’s the highest that number has been in the 18 months or so that NBC/WSJ have been asking the question — and the clearest evidence yet that we may be headed to a “pox on both your houses” election the likes of which we have never seen before.

Obviously there is no place on the ballot where you can vote out every incumbent — though it would be kind of fascinating if there was, wouldn’t it? — and elections are fought district by district, not in a single national vote.

But, the NBC/WSJ poll question provides a helpful barometer of the discontent that people are feeling toward Congress generally and also gauges how willing — at least at the moment — they are to act on those feelings.

Looking back on the (relatively) short history of the question, the new numbers are jarring.

Just before the 2010 election — where Republicans picked up a whopping 63 House seats — just 45 percent of those polled said they would vote out every incumbent including their own.

That the number has now risen to 54 percent suggests that the 2010 election, which many people cast as a moment of closure for voters wanting to vent their unhappiness with Washington, was actually just a midpoint in an ever-increasing displeasure with how the nation’s capital and its inhabitants operate.

(Another piece of evidence that speaks to that unhappiness: 82 percent of people disapprove of how Congress is handling its jobs in the NBC/WSJ poll — the highest number in the survey ever; in the new Washington Post/ABC News poll, 68 percent disapproved of how Republicans in Congress are doing their job.)

As we have written before, there is no historical precedent for voters throwing out large numbers of incumbents of both parties in a single election. Blame tends to congregate around a single party — usually the one perceived as being in charge in Washington — rather than being spread out to both sides.

But, we are living in historically anomalous political times. The eye-popping disapproval numbers for Congress, the large number of people who say the country is headed off in the wrong direction and the ongoing economic malaise are creating a strange brew that we’ve not witnessed before.

#2160: Marine Links Serco Hollow Point EOCs to Red Switch Cake-Boy's Coup d'État

Abel Danger - Fri, 10/31/2014 - 12:07
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Serco's procurement of hollow-point ammunition for agents in emergency operations centers ('EOCs') in Virginia and Chicago to its alleged reconfiguration of the U.S. Defense Red Switch Network to support a coup d'état by the cake-boy president of the United States, Barack Obama.

McConnell believes Serco has reconfigured Vancouver's E-Comm 9-1-1 facility as a Red Switch hub so that Canada can override the U.S. National Command Authority during periods of civil unrest and use Virginia's mobile emergency operations centers to direct mass murder of citizens with hollow-point ammunition and force Washington to surrender to Obama paramilitaries.

McConnell suggests that Canadians check out 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling who appears to have the tradecraft skills needed for scripted killings at staged mass casualty events, especially his experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and paedophile image analysis for the UK MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

"Homeland Security under investigation for massive ammo buysPublished time: April 30, 2013 19:37
Edited time: May 01, 2013 17:09

The Department of Homeland Security is under investigation for purchasing large stockpiles of ammunition, days before legislation was introduced that would restrict the amount a government agency can legally buy.
The Government Accountability Office is now conducting the investigation into the alleged DHS purchases, which is "just getting underway," GAO spokesman Chuck Young told US News & World Report.
DHS officials have repeatedly denied stockpiling ammunition, but AP reports claim that the agency plans to buy more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition over the next four or five years, and has already bought 360,000 rounds of hollow point bullets and 1.5 billion rounds in 2012.
DHS claims that it is buying ammo in bulk to save money, but experts have pointed out that hollow point bullets cost nearly twice as much as full metal jacket rounds. They also explode on impact for maximum damage, which has caused some Americans to wonder what purpose they would serve the DHS domestically. Purchasing 1.6 billion rounds of ammo would also give DHS the means to fight the equivalent of a 24-year Iraq War. Members of Congress say the DHS has repeatedly refused to tell them the purpose of procuring such large amounts of ammo.
"They have no answer for that question," Congressman Timothy Huelscamp told Infowars in March, pointing out that the purchases are being made at a time when sequestration should be limiting the agency's spending. "...We're going to find out... I say we don't fund them until we get an answer."
DHS officials testified last week that it was only planning to purchase up to 750 million rounds of ammunition for training centers and law enforcement over the next five years. The agency's spokesman, Peter Boogaard, told Congress that the media reports are 'misleading'. But Boogard also mentioned a second five-year contract for up to 450 million rounds of ammunition for law enforcement purposes. Together, the two DHS contracts for ammunition would result in purchases of up to 1.2 billion rounds of ammo.
"With more than 100,000 armed law enforcement personnel in DHS, significant quantities of ammunition are used to support law enforcement operations, quarterly qualifications, and training, to include advanced firearms training exercises," Boogard said.
But the DHS testimony did not provide an adequate explanation for the large amount of ammo it plans to procure, prompting a GAO investigation at approximately the same time as the introduction of the AMMO Act.
The new legislation, which was introduced in both the Senate and the House on Friday, would prevent government agencies from buying any more ammunition if its stockpiles are already larger than what they were in previous presidential administrations.
Proponents of the bill suspect that government agencies may be making large ammunition purchases to keep the supplies out of the hands of Americans at a time when the administration has been trying to reduce gun violence.
"President Obama has been adamant about curbing law-abiding Americans' access and opportunities to exercise their Second Amendment rights," US Sen. Jim Inhofe, who introduced the bill, said in a news release. "One way the Obama Administration is able to do this is by limiting what's available in the market with federal agencies purchasing unnecessary stockpiles of ammunition... [DHS] has two years worth of ammo on hand and allots nearly 1,000 more rounds of ammunition for DHS officers than is used on average by our Army officers."
Congressman Frank Lucas cited an ammunition shortage in Oklahoma and blamed the DHS for taking away Americans' Second Amendment rights by removing ammo from the market.
The GAO investigation will attempt to determine whether there truly is a reason for the large ammo purchases, or whether DHS is simply buying large quantities to save money in the long run."
"Defense Ammunition Center (DAC)
Contract Type: Fixed Price
Period of Performance : 10/1/2008 to 9/30/2013

Project Overview:

Since 2008, Serco has assisted DAC with the analysis, design, development, implementation, management/ administration, and evaluation of integrated, enterprise-wide and component-specific training, learning, knowledge management, and strategic human resource management interventions that are critical to achieving their mission. Serco holds an OPM TMA TO with DAC and also a contract through GSA Millenia Lite. When the GSA contract could not support all of DACs needs, Serco recommended the use of the OPM TMA vehicle. Through these contracts, Serco provides training program management support to deliver multi-faceted best practice solutions in training development and delivery, knowledge management, portal technologies, course conversions (ILT and CBT to WBT), mobile performance applications, and Learning Management Systems support. Serco applies the ADDIE model to all course development activities including ILT, WBT, and leading-edge technologies including mobile performance applications. Serco provided LMS support and also developed and continues to manage DAC's Ammunition Community of Excellence.

Types of Solutions Developed:

Serco converted DAC curriculum from predominantly ILT to a blended training environment that provided DL, ILT support, continuous performance support through a CoP, and mobile application tools for approximately 110,000 students annually. To date, Serco has worked with DAC to grow their online curriculum to more than 60 courses representing approximately 240 hours of training. Serco assisted DAC in migrating to the mandated Army Learning Management System (ALMS) in less than six months. Serco also provides ongoing support for the identification of new DL courses while maintaining and updating the spectrum of existing courses. On the ILT front, Serco provides design support and, when required, additional facilitator/instructor support for several courses.

The CoP provides a repository of relevant materials, a forum for collaborative sharing of information, and an "Ask an Expert" capability for soldiers to receive answers to their questions from qualified DAC resources. The CoP enjoys more than 10,000 active members and has received numerous accolades from appreciative members.

Most recently, Serco proposed the inclusion of mobile application tools and games
[!!!!!!!] to reinforce training and provide continuous and "in the field" performance support. To date, Serco has developed six mobile apps which have been distributed for both the iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play) environments. Together, these apps have reached over 15,000 soldiers and have allowed DAC to become a center of excellence in this burgeoning training environment.

Intended or Achieved Result:

Through the design and delivery of customized instructor-led, web-based training and distribution of mobile performance supports, Serco has increased the number of DAC learners by 10–15% year over year. Serco has increased the number of DAC learners reached annually by 10%–15% via varied modalities. In 2011 alone:
  • 110,000 Soldiers took a Serco-authored DAC Distance Learning course
  • 15,000 Soldiers participated in a Serco-developed, DAC-sponsored ILT course
  • 15,000 people used the Serco-administrated DAC Ammunition CoP to discover information, references or collaborate with other ammunition professionals"

"E-Comm 9-1-1 is a multi-municipality agency that provides emergency communications operations for the region of southwest British Columbia. The company coordinates 9-1-1 service for police, fire, and ambulance service, providing call-taking and dispatch services for multiple agencies in the Lower Mainland area. E-Comm's service area covers Metro Vancouver (from Lions Bay to Langley), the Sunshine Coast Regional District, south Squamish-Lillooet Regional District and the Whistler-Howe Sound area serving a population of more than two million residents. The company provides call-taking for all participating municipalities, transferring incoming calls to the appropriate agency. Furthermore, E-Comm provides dispatch services for eleven police departments and nineteen fire departments.[1]
E-Comm owns and operates the Wide-Area Radio Network (WARN), a shared communications system used by police agencies, fire departments and the entire British Columbia Ambulance Service in Metro Vancouver.[2] The WARN features earthquake-resistant infrastructure and enhanced security measures, providing improved coverage, clarity, and reliability.[2] The WARN allows for real-time communication between members of separate agencies, increasing inter-agency communication and coordination.
History [edit]
Interest in consolidating emergency communications in southwest British Columbia began in the early 1990s following a series of large-scale disasters. The disorganized state of emergency communications during those incidents demonstrated that contemporary un-integrated communications services were not effective in dealing with large incidents, and required reform.[3]
In spring of 1994, hockey fever captured British Columbia as the Vancouver Canucks advanced to the Stanley Cup finals. When they lost the seventh and final game of the series, huge crowds of fans took to the streets to lament the team's loss, and were quickly joined by troublemakers attracted to the large groups of people. The unhappy crowd soon erupted into a full-scale riot. The Vancouver Police were forced to call in the Crowd Control Unit and request back up from neighbouring Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachments in an effort to disperse the out-of-control crowd.[3] In the midst of the chaos, the Vancouver Police radio system was unable to handle the increased amount of radio traffic.[3] Paramedics, firefighters and police found themselves in danger because their radio systems were not compatible with each other.
Following the riot, widely known as the Stanley Cup Riot, the provincial government began planning for an organization that would consolidate all emergency radio and phone services to allow information sharing between agencies and members. E-Comm was established under the Emergency Communications Corporations Act of 1997.[3] As a cost-recovery business corporation, it is owned by stakeholders made up of all the agencies that use its service, which include municipalities, police boards, provincial and federal government agencies, and crown corporations.[3]
The E-Comm Facility[edit]
E-Comm is located at 3301 East Pender Street, across from the Pacific National Exhibition. The E-Comm building is a post-disaster facility, designed to resist a major earthquake or other large-scale disaster, permitting the continued operation of emergency communications in such a situation.[4] Special attention was paid to the facility's mechanical, electrical, structural and communication systems to ensure they are highly reliable, fault tolerant and resistant to hazard. The building is a reinforced concrete structure with shatter-proof glass, and has storage capacity for emergency food and water.[4] Backup support systems that lend to the building's self-sufficiency include communication, mechanical plants, emergency power generation, uninterruptible power sources, and emergency water and food storage.[4]
The City of Vancouver's Office of Emergency Management and Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), Vancouver Emergency Community Telecommunications Organization (VECTOR), and Vancouver Emergency Social Services (ESS) are also located inside the E-Comm building.Governance and shareholders[edit]
E-Comm is managed by a Board of Directors made up of 18 members nominated by the shareholders. Day to day operation is managed by the President & CEO of E-Comm.

Rothschild Gold Fixers, Dubai & The Annunaki

October 30, 2014

(Excerpted from Chapter 6: Bank of Crooks & Criminals International: Big Oil & Their Bankers)

It was during the 1980’s US/Saudi-financed mujahedeen offensive on the Afghan people that Dubai – one of the emirates comprising the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – became a duty-free port and drug money laundry, serving much the same role as Hong Kong had for the Illuminati banksters during the Vietnam War.

Where Hong Kong had financed CIA opium for arms swaps in the Golden Triangle, Dubai served the CIA smack for weapons trade in the Golden Crescent – an area which comprises parts of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Golden Crescent opium production eclipsed Golden Triangle production just as the CIA was springing into action in Afghanistan. While international banks in Dubai laundered the proceeds, Sharjah – another UAE emirate – housed a duty-free airport specializing in covert weapons shipments. [1]

Gold is the currency of drug and weapons traffickers and Dubai is the favorite hub in the global bullion trade. The British Bank of the Middle East dominates the Dubai gold trade. It is 100% owned by Hong Kong Shanghai Bank (HSBC), which also monopolizes the Hong Kong gold trade along with Kleinwort Benson, which has close relations with Rio Tinto, [see information below on British-based Rio Tinto in Namibia and Brent Carlsson, UN Ambassador to Namibia before he became the highest profile passenger killed on Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland] a company founded on Matheson family opium proceeds. Matheson’s heirs are the Keswick and Swire families which dominate the board of directors at HSBC, Jardine Matheson, P&O Nedlloyd and Cathay Pacific Airlines. [2]

Kleinwort’s Sharps Pixley subsidiary is one of five firms that gather daily at N. M. Rothschild & Sons in London to unilaterally “fix” the price of gold. Another is Mocatta Metals which is majority-owned by Standard Chartered – the bank Cecil Rhodes founded – where P&O’s Lord Inchcape sits on the board. P&O is the world’s largest port operator. Mocatta is a favorite conduit for Israeli Mossad financing.

Midland Bank subsidiary Samuel Montagu is a third London gold “fixer”. Midland was bought by HSBC in 1999 and is partially owned by the Kuwaiti al-Sabah clan. The other two gold fixers are Johnson Matthey and N. M. Rothschild, both of which have interlocking boards with Anglo-American and HSBC. [3]

Anglo-American – controlled by South Africa’s Oppenheimer family – owns both Engelhardt, which enjoys a near monopoly in refining the world’s gold, and DeBeers, which monopolizes the global diamond trade.

It was the mysterious Count of Saint-Germain who first claimed to possess the esoteric knowledge necessary for the transmutation of metals like gold and for removing flaws from diamonds. The Count stayed for a time with William IX of Hesse, whose financial adviser was Mayer Rothschild. The Count may have imparted his secret wisdom upon young Mayer and his House of Hesse employer, who in partnership came to control the Cabalistic Frankfurt Freemason Lodge which housed the German Illuminati. [4]

Diamonds are important in the laundering of drug money since they are small and easy to transport, yet hold great value. Sir Harry Oppenheimer’s De Beers controls 85% of the global wholesale diamond market. De Beers is a subsidiary of Anglo-American where Sir Harry sits on the board.

The current De Beers chairman is Nicky Oppenheimer. De Beers’ most valuable diamond mines are in southern Africa. One called Jwaneng, at the edge of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, may be the most valuable property on earth. This vein of kimberlite, which produces diamonds, was only discovered in 1973. De Beers also mines diamonds from off-shore platforms off the coast of Namibia.

The world’s largest store of diamonds sits under De Beers London headquarters. The company sells rough diamonds ten times a year in London to 125 hand-picked customers at a take-it-or-leave-it set price. De Beers was indicted in 1994 for price-fixing by the US Justice Department and to this day company officials do not set foot on US soil for fear they may be nabbed by US authorities. [5]

Diamond cutting was until recently done in only two places in the world- Antwerp, Belgium and Ashqelon, Israel. In Antwerp the cutting was financed by Banque Bruxelles-Lambert, which is controlled by the Lambert family – cousins to the Rothschilds and owners of the scandal-ridden Drexel Burnham Lambert.

In Israel the cutting was financed by Bank Leumi, Israel’s biggest finance house which is controlled by the British Barclays Bank. Sir Harry Oppenheimer also sits on the Barclay’s board. [6]

Recently Gujarat, India has become the location of choice for 90% of global diamond cutting due to the cheap labor it affords. Bangkok, Tel Aviv and New York handle the rest. Eighty percent of diamond trading still occurs in Antwerp.

De Beers, like gold-fixer Standard Chartered, was founded by Cecil Rhodes in South Africa during the 1880’s. Rhodes’ last will and testament created the Royal Institute for International Affairs which spawned the Council on Foreign Relations. Rhodes Scholars like Bill Clinton are funded by the Rhodes Trust.

The principal trustee for the Rhodes estate is Lord Alfred Milner, who in 1899 provoked the Boer War through which Britain and Rhodes gained control over South Africa’s [and Namibia] diamond and gold mines. There, black South Africans toil in one of the world’s most dangerous jobs and receive almost nothing for enriching the Oppenheimers and their cronies.

The world’s three biggest mining companies – BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Anglo American – are controlled by Oppenheimer/Rothschild/RD/Shell mob. In 2010 the first two talked of merging.

Rhodes was a leader in European Freemasonry, where he mingled with the likes of the Rothschilds, King George IV, King William IV, Lord Randolph Churchill (Winston’s father), the Marquis of Salisbury, Arthur Conan Doyle, Rudyard Kipling and Oscar Wilde.

The group was preoccupied with the notion of an Aryan super-race, a notion shared by Adolf Hitler and the ruling paradigm for the South African apartheid regime. Their “secret knowledge” of human creation, which defies both creationist and evolutionary theories, is bound up in the tale of the Anunnaki, who according to recently uncovered Sumerian clay tablets arrived around 6000 BC in Sumeria from planet Nubira.

A growing number of researchers led by Zechariah Sitchin say the Annunaki bred human slaves known in the Hebrew bible as Adamu and in English as Earthlings to mine gold necessary to patch up a hole in Nubira’s ozone layer which was caused by a collision with another planet. One Anunnaki leader was named Nazi. The alien gods who created “Adam” called their Mesopotamian colony E.DIN. They traveled the world in search of gold, which NASA scientists agree would be the best patch for our own ozone problem. Scientists have discovered mining operations going back as far as 100,000 BC in Africa, South and Central America. [7]

The Adamus who left Eden became gold mining slaves and their worldwide deployment may explain the many holes in evolutionary and anthropological theories of the day. It may also explain phenomena such as the Nazca Lines in Peru and the Great Pyramids of Egypt.

Adam and his descendants became slaves to these Lords. The biblical Hebrew term avod which is commonly translated “worship” actually means “work”. Adam and the biblical characters were not worshiping God, they were working for him as slaves. And “God” may connote the Anunnaki invaders.

The Sumerian tablets provide an intriguing explanation as to why man settled into agriculture in Mesopotamia from the much easier and more sustainable practice of hunting and gathering.

The tablets state simply that the Annunaki gods made them do it. Cities grew and the Annunaki placed one of its god/human hybrids in charge of each new urban center. These rulers became Kings, their dynastic right to rule based on bloodlines to the Anunnaki.

The first such king was Cush, who was Noah’s grandson and the father of Nimrod. Some researchers believe Yahweh was actually Annunaki earth mission commander Enli, who was a brutal tyrant.

Abraham, who all major religions claim as their patriarch, may have also been an Anunnaki hybrid. The secret knowledge Abraham purveyed serves as the basis for all modern secret societies, from Freemasonry to Cabala to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Whether true or not, what is important is that the Illuminati elite believe that these special bloodlines give them the God-given right to enslave all Earthlings.

By the mid-1890s Freemason Cecil Rhodes launched the Diamond Syndicate, whose successor Central Selling Organization still monopolizes the global diamond trade. Rhodes’ forays were financed by the Rothschild family.

In November 1997, when Baron Edmond Rothschild died in Geneva, he left in his trust substantial holdings in De Beers. [8] [was the UN Ambassador to Namibia Bernt Carlsson killed on Pan Am Flight 103 because he was threatening De Beer profits being taken out of diamond and uranium mining in Namibia?] According to former British Intelligence officer John Coleman, author of The Committee of 300, “Rhodes was principal agent for the Rothschilds…who dispossessed the South African Boers of their birthright, the gold and diamonds that lay beneath their soil.”

Coleman fails to mention that the Boers were themselves invaders and that black South Africans held the true birthright to this vast wealth. Still, Coleman’s statement regarding the Rhodes/Rothschild relationship appears on the mark.

In 1888 Cecil Rhodes wrote his third will and left everything to Lord Rothschild. Rhodes, Milner and Rothschild founded the Business Roundtable in London in early 1900 which charted a course for expansion of the British Empire and for Crown control over the global economy that exists to this day.

UN Ambassador to Namibia Bernt Carlsson- Pan Am Flight 103 Over Lockerbie - Diamonds and Gold Mines - Namibia Independence - Rio Tinto and De Beers - It Was The Uranium - Parasitic Elite

Patrick Haseldine is a former British diplomat who was dismissed by the then foreign secretary, John Major, in August 1989. Haseldine's dismissal resulted from his public criticism in a letter published in The Guardian on 7 December 1988[1] of prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, and from what he regarded as her government's acquiescence in the face of an act of state-sponsored terrorism by apartheid South Africa — the 21 December 1988 Lockerbie bombing.[2]

Patrick Haseldine accuses apartheid South Africa's Civil Cooperation Bureau of sabotaging Pan Am Flight 103
In October 2007, Haseldine petitioned Prime Minister Tony Blair for a United Nations Inquiry into the death of Lockerbie bombing victim, United Nations Commissioner for Namibia, Bernt Carlsson.[3] Two years later, he repeated the call for a United Nations Inquiry to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.[4]

Patrick Haseldine, who refers to himself as "Emeritus Professor of Lockerbie Studies", is a particularly active WikiSpooks user, being the principal author of The How, Why and Who of Pan Am Flight 103 and many other pages relating to the Lockerbie bombing.

I am grateful to Patrick Haseldine for the following e-mail setting out his reasons for believing that apartheid South Africa may have been responsible for the bombing of Pan Am 103:
Dear Robert, Now that a "US court orders Libya to pay $6bn" in damages to the relatives of seven US victims of the September 1989 UTA Flight 772 bombing, and to the American owner of the DC-10 aircraft (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7191278.stm), the United Nations should investigate both Pan Am Flight 103 (http://indymedia.org.uk/en/2007/12/387992.html) and UTA Flight 772. The way that Libya was "fitted up" for both crimes is succinctly explained by French investigative journalist, Pierre Péan, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Péan#FBI_fabricated_evidence_against_Libya. The obvious starter question for the UN Inquiry to address is: But if Libya didn't do it, who did? There is no shortage of suspects but for my money apartheid South Africa is the clear favourite. This is why: 1. The Reagan/Gorbachev summit in Moscow in May 1988 decided that South Africa had to grant Namibia its independence, in return for Cuba's withdrawal of troops from Angola and the cutting off of military aid by the Soviet Union (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Accords) 2. It was US presidential election year in 1988, and Democrat nominee Michael Dukakis would have declared South Africa to be a "terrorist state" (along with Libya and Iran) if he were elected US president (see http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=940DEFDC133BF930A25755C0A96E948260). 3. South Africa's nightmare was to have SWAPO take control of Namibia with more than 66% of the vote, since this would have allowed SWAPO to re-write the independence constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Namibia#Negotiations_and_transition). Measures were therefore taken for South Africa's Civil Cooperation Bureau to disrupt the election process, to harass the UN Special Representative Martti Ahtisaari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martti_Ahtisaari#Diplomatic_career) and to take out prominent SWAPO activists (eg Anton Lubowski). The Koevoet paramilitary force was also deployed to prevent SWAPO's military wing returning from overseas bases. And, according to The Guardian of July 26, 1991, Foreign Minister Pik Botha told a press conference that the South African government had paid more than £20 million to at least seven political parties in Namibia to oppose SWAPO in the run-up to the 1989 elections. He justified the expenditure on the grounds that South Africa was at war with SWAPO at the time. 4. UN Commissioner for Namibia, Bernt Carlsson, was in an anomalous position. In theory, Carlsson was the UN's Governor of Namibia (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=940DE4D9143EF931A15751C1A96E948260). But, United Nations authority over Namibia was never recognised by the South African Government, who administered the territory through an Administrator-General, Louis Pienaar, and it is unclear what role Bernt Carlsson would have played in the run-up to Namibia's independence. A UN Inquiry into Carlsson's death on Pan Am Flight 103 will doubtless help to resolve this anomaly. The full text of ten letters I had published in The Guardian is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Patrick_Haseldine#Letters_to_The_Guardian. The first letter was published 14 days before the Lockerbie bombing. The nine subsequent letters all seek to incriminate the apartheid regime for Pan Am Flight 103, and one even suggests that South Africa was responsible for the UTA Flight 772 bombing (The bearer of strange tidings from Islamic Jihad)! Yours sincerely, Patrick. ________

According to the Namibian Sun of 8 January 2014:
The bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie in Scotland on December 21, 1988 had helped to keep Namibia’s Rössing Uranium Mine in business, after a lead investigator into allegations of the illegal exportation of uranium from the then South-West Africa (SWA) perished in the deadly attack. Bernt Carlsson, the United Nations (UN) Assistant Secretary-General and Commissioner for Namibia at the time, was the highest-profile victim of that bombing, according to a report released this week. The report, compiled by former British diplomat Patrick Haseldine, suggests that Carlsson was the main target of the bombing - in order to end his high-profile investigation into allegations that there was a secret contract and operations arranged by British-based Rio Tinto Zinc Corp to import into Britain uranium (Yellowcake) from Rössing in Namibia.[17] Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and UN Commissioner for Namibia, Bernt Carlsson
It appears that Bernt Carlsson had been duped into flying on Pan Am Flight 103 considering Pik Botha's delegation took the morning flight Pan Am 101 to New York. It later turned out to be false that Pik Botha had a flight booked on Pan Am 103. It was a driver from De Beers who took Brent Carlsson to Heathrow Airport after the meeting at De Beers in which Brent Carlsson was probably lured into attending.
Logistically, targeting Bernt Carlsson must have seemed a much more difficult challenge for Craig Williamson. The Namibia Independence Agreement was scheduled to be signed at UN headquarters in New York City on 22 December 1988 when South Africa which had been illegally occupying the territory for decades would finally hand it over to the United Nations. Bernt Carlsson had been invited to address a committee meeting of the European Parliament in Brussels and was booked to fly back to New York on Sabena direct from Brussels on 20 December 1988. Instead, Bernt Carlsson was persuaded to fly to London on 21 December 1988 for a meeting with the diamond mining conglomerate De Beers and then travel onward on Pan Am Flight 103 with a South African party headed by Foreign Minister Pik Botha. (South African Airways were banned from flying direct to the United States by the 1986 Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act.) ________

#2159 Marine Links Campbell-Stacey Pig Farm, Serco EOC Tags to Paulson's Ammo Ambush, Rempel's Idling Limo

Abel Danger - Thu, 10/30/2014 - 16:03
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked finance apparently arranged by Gordon Campbell and Tom Stacey for Serco's mobile emergency operations centers ('EOC') and a kill-team tagging service developed at the Pickton Family pig farm in Port Coquitlam, B.C., to an ammo ambush, allegedly scripted by RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson in which Michael Zehaf-Bibeau took a 9mm slug to the head after commandeering Michelle Rempel's idling limo.

Ottawa Shooting Video Shows Dramatic Moment Michael Zehaf Bibeau Stormed Parliament

McConnell believes that, starting in 1996, Campbell and Stacey deployed Serco tagged offenders at pig-farm snuff-film raves to extort ministers of Western Economic Diversification (currently Michelle Rempel) into financing Vancouver’s E-Comm 9-1-1 which Paulson has allegedly converted into a hacker's hub for mobile emergency operations centers and Serco’s global kill teams.

McConnell suggests that Canadians check out 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling who appears to have the tradecraft skills needed for scripted killings at the pig farm and on Parliament Hill, especially his experience in electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery [extortion] and pedophile image analysis for the UK MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

"Zehaf-Bibeau had been staying at the Ottawa Mission, a homeless shelter in Ottawa near Parliament Hill. According to other residents of the mission, Zehaf-Bibeau and two other men had been trying to get a vehicle. Others said of Zehaf-Bibeau and the other two men, "You knew they were up to something shifty, pacing around a lot and everything."[77] [Henderson, David (October 23, 2014). "Shooter Zehaf-Bibeau was staying at Ottawa Mission before rampage: witnesses". Ottawa Citizen.] The vehicle used by Zehaf-Bibeau was purchased one day before the shootings.[26] One resident of the mission noted that Zehaf-Bibeau's mood had changed three days before the attacks, and he attributed it to Zehaf-Bibeau going back on drugs. Zehaf-Bibeau reportedly told the other residents that he was "anti-Canadian" and to pray because "the world is ending".[78]

A day before the attack, multiple witnesses saw Zehaf-Bibeau engaged in a "heated discussion" with another man while waiting to register his purchase of the vehicle used in the shootings. According to a witness, Zehaf-Bibeau said “If soldiers bombed your family, wouldn't you want to kill them?". Staff in the registry office asked him to lower his voice or leave. The purchase was disallowed by the office because of his out-of-province identification. The purchase was never registered and Zehaf-Bibeau pasted a piece of junk mail on the car to mimic a temporary license permit.[79]

How Zehaf-Bibeau obtained his gun has not been determined.[80] At the time of the shootings, Zehaf-Bibeau was legally prohibited from possessing or acquiring firearms.[3] Additionally, his previous criminal charges and convictions, history of drug abuse, and lack of a fixed address all would have prevented him from receiving a Canadian Firearms Licence.[3] A knife that Zehaf-Bibeau had with him on October 22 was determined to have originated from a relative's home.[80]"

Tools of a killer 3:01Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who shot and killed Cpl. Nathan Cirillo at the National War Memorial earlier this week, was asked to leave the B.C. mosque he attended and objected to its policy of allowing in non-Muslims, a B.C. Muslim Association spokesperson has said.Ottawa shooting: Full CBC coverage

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau parents' statement: 'We are so sorry'Montreal-born Zehaf-Bibeau, 32, lived in B.C. in recent years and had a connection to the Masjid al-Salaam and Education Centre, a mosque in Burnaby, B.C..

Speaking at a news conference on Friday morning, association spokesman Aasim Rashid denounced Wednesday's attack."These are acts of criminal violence and show utter disregard for human life and the laws of the world, as well as its religions," said Rashid.

"We openly condemn the propaganda of the lawless groups trying to incite Canadians to hurt other Canadians. Such propaganda is clear evidence that these groups are individuals, are sheer terrorists."

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, Ottawa gunman, asked B.C. judge to send him to jailRashid told reporters Zehaf-Bibeau had attended the mosque for three to four months in 2011 and described him as keeping largely to himself.

But, he said, Zehaf-Bibeau did object to the openness with which the mosque accepts non-Muslims.

"The mosque operates on a foundation of welcome, of community outreach and interfaith dialogue and that cannot take place when we close the doors on our neighbours.

"If he was not OK with that, he should probably choose another mosque to go to and pray."

Finally, Zehaf-Bibeau attempted to sleep at the mosque when he was released from prison in 2012, said Rashid, which led to him being asked to leave.

Zehaf-Bibeau was charged with robbery and uttering threats for an incident in Vancouver on Dec. 16, 2011, which court records indicate may have been an attempt to get help.

At Zehaf-Bibeau's bail hearing, he told the judge himself that he wanted to serve time. The judge agreed to detain him over Christmas.

RCMP asks for tips

The RCMP on Fridaycirculated a mug shot of Zehaf-Bibeau taken by Vancouver police and asked anyone with information about his movements from Oct. 2 onward to contact the security tip line at 1-800-420-5805 or RCMP.NSIN-RISN.GRC@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.

New information also emerged about Zehaf-Bibeau's online presence. A data security expert who works for Public Safety Canada says there is online evidence that Zehaf-Bibeau was radicalized.

Rafal Rohozinski, the CEO of SecDev Group, told CBC News Online that evidence suggests Zehaf-Bibeau had Syrian connections.

"We have indications that he interacted with sites and individuals that have contact to Syria," Rohozinski said in an interview with CBC News on Friday. "We know that his principal channel to radicalization seems to have been with online content."

Rohozinski said SecDev has turned what material it has over to the relevant authorities."

E-Comm 9-1-1 is a multi-municipality agency that provides emergency communications operations for the region of southwest British Columbia. The company coordinates 9-1-1 service for police, fire, and ambulance service, providing call-taking and dispatch services for multiple agencies in the Lower Mainland area. E-Comm's service area covers Metro Vancouver (from Lions Bay toLangley), the Sunshine Coast Regional District, south Squamish-Lillooet Regional District and the Whistler-Howe Sound area serving a population of more than two million residents.

The unhappy crowd soon erupted into a full-scale riot

The City of Vancouver's Office of Emergency Management and Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), Vancouver Emergency Community Telecommunications Organization (VECTOR), and Vancouver Emergency Social Services (ESS) are also located inside the E-Comm building.

#2158 Marine Links Serco’s Ammo Bibeau Crime Scene Tags to Paulson’s Hotel EOC, Versaterm Pig Farm

Abel Danger - Wed, 10/29/2014 - 16:42
Plum City - (AbelDanger.net): United States Marine Field McConnell has linked Serco's alleged procurement of ammo and electronic tags for crime scenes associated with the wrongful death of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau on October 22, 2014, to RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson’s alleged deployment of emergency operations centers (‘EOC’) in nearby hotels where one or more guest rooms are equipped with the Versaterm systems that were apparently developed and used to disrupt police responses to the serial murders at the Pickton pig farm in Port Coquitlam, B.C.

McConnell believes that Paulson deployed Versaterm emergency operations centers in the Fairmont Chateau Laurier and the Sheraton Ottawa hotels so selected guests could equip Bibeau with Serco ammo for his Winchester 30-30 rifle and direct Serco’s tagged offenders to guide Bibeau from the War Memorial to an alcove in the Parliament Building where his head encountered a 9mm bullet from a pistol fired by 29-year RCMP veteran and Sergeant at Arms, Kevin Vickers.

McConnell claims that Serco deployed Con Air tagged offenders on 9/11 through Versaterm emergency operations centers in the Pentagon City Sheraton Hotel to disrupt first responders during the attack on the Pentagon's U.S. Navy Command Center and in the Marriott Hotel at 3 World Trade Center, NYC, to disrupt the evacuation of the Twin Towers and thereby achieve a spot-fixed body count for bookmakers in London.

"Versaterm Inc. is a leading developer of integrated software solutions for police agencies in Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. The Versadex product suite combines advanced mobile workstation technology, robust computer aided dispatching, and a sophisticated records management system to give police the efficiency, flexibility, and control they'll need from their information management systems in the 21st century. With a depth of police systems experience, and a long standing commitment to working closely with their clients, Versaterm continues to redefine integrated police information management."

McConnell suggests Canadians check out 32-year veteran Serco manager Bob Coulling who appears to have the tradecraft skills needed for killings at the pig farm, the Pentagon and on Parliament Hill including electronic warfare, tagging, asset recovery and Childbase paedophile image analysis for the UK MOD, GCHQ, CESG, Police, Home Office, Serious Organised Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice and Customs and Revenue and Immigration Service.

Serco provided LMS support and also developed and continues to manage DAC’s Ammunition Community of Excellence.Types of Solutions Developed:Serco converted DAC curriculum from predominantly ILT to a blended training environment that provided DL, ILT support, continuous performance support through a CoP, and mobile application tools for approximately 110,000 students annually. The CoP provides a repository of relevant materials, a forum for collaborative sharing of information, and an “Ask an Expert” capability for soldiers to receive answers to their questions from qualified DAC resources. The CoP enjoys more than 10,000 active members and has received numerous accolades from appreciative members. Most recently, Serco proposed the inclusion of mobile application tools and games to reinforce training and provide continuous and “in the field” performance support. To date, Serco has developed six mobile apps which have been distributed for both the iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play) environments. Together, these apps have reached over 15,000 soldiers and have allowed DAC to become a center of excellence in this burgeoning training environment.Intended or Achieved Result:Through the design and delivery of customized instructor-led, web-based training and distribution of mobile performance supports, Serco has increased the number of DAC learners by 10–15% year over year. Serco has increased the number of DAC learners reached annually by 10%–15% via varied modalities. In 2011 alone:110,000 Soldiers took a Serco-authored DAC Distance Learning course15,000 Soldiers participated in a Serco-developed, DAC-sponsored ILT course15,000 people [potential hackers] used the Serco-administrated DAC Ammunition CoP to discover information, references or collaborate with other ammunition professionals.”Yours sincerely,
